The fact that Shulk reacts to seeing Bana again means that he canonically did all the sidequests in XC1. Spoilers for XC1 main game ahead... This means that while the Mechonis was minutes away from levelling the Bionis, or when the Bionis itself was being destroyed by Telethia, Shulk and friends were just helping people solve their everyday issues.

Honestly I thought the main villain of xc3 would turn out to be a nopon, since they were only ones who benefited most from the balanced war.

@@neopolitan2826 same in appearence or the same character because theirs so much multi dimension lore about the conduit and none canon crossovers like in XC2's challenge mode that I wouldn't be surprised if he dimensioned hopped.

Oh you'll love base game then, he's the boss of a chain lasting from when you arrive to frontier village right through to nearly the end of the game

@@YasEmisDaBus During the sidequest chain you need top secret files, a key item you can get from a sidequest when you first visit Colony 6, before ether mines. This chain goes through basically the entire game lmao

You can’t keep a evil Nopon down forever. Eventually, Bana will rise up again, ready to take revenge after running in a hamster wheel for God-knows-how-long.

Okay bear with me. Bana is 22 years old in Xenoblade 1 while Melia is 88. Based on the lifespan of high entia and how old Melia seems from the trailer, probably not more than 100-150 years or so passed between 1 and 3. Nopon can live up to 240 years naturally. That means I better see both Banas team up in Xenoblade 3.

What 240 year old Nopons did you see? The ages in the XC1 affinity chart all suggest they have about the same lifespan as humans (outside of the Nopon Sage).

I am probably late, but you need to do all the other sidequests except the ponsceptors quest to unlock this one.
