U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallions with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 264 reinforced and United States Navy MH-53E Sea Dragons with the USS Kearsarge transport Marines with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit to MCAS Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina (N.C.).
The Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallions is a large, heavy-lift cargo helicopter in United States Marine Corps (USMC). It be the largest and heaviest helicopter in the U.S. military.The MH-53E Sea Dragon fills the United States Navy's need for long range minesweeping or Airborne Mine Countermeasures (AMCM) missions, and perform heavy-lift duties for the Navy. The Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion, has new engines, new composite material rotor blades, and a wider aircraft cabin.

I built these bad boys in Stratford, Connecticut. Was a hoot watching them fly behind the plant. You could see them from the Merritt Parkway...

The CH-53E, the Marine Corps' heavy lift helicopter designed for the transportation of material and supplies, is compatible with most amphibious class ships and is carried routinely aboard LHA (Landing, Helicopter, Assault: an amphibious assault ship), LPH (Landing Platform, Helicopter: an amphibious assault ship) and now LHD (Landing, Helicopter, Dock: an amphibious assault ship) type ships. The MH-53E is used primarily for Airborne Mine Countermeasures (AMCM), with a secondary mission of shipboard delivery. Additional mission capabilities include air-to-air refueling, hover in-flight refueling, search and rescue, and external cargo transport operations, in both land and seaborne environments.

The MH-53 e were my old squadron. When I served we had the D model. the Ch53e was marine. the Navy are MH53e.

The only Marine CH-53E in this video is at 1:16 and at 3:57. Every other time it's a Navy MH-53E Sea Dragon.

Two just flew low over our house near Cape Canaveral. We thought it was an unannounced rocket liftoff!! Ran outside and saw those magnificent bastards flying overhead. A thing of beauty!!

I was the avionics tech rep for HC-1, a CH53E and H-3 Navy squadron in North Island NAS from 1984 to 1987. Does anyone know where the 2 CH53Es went after the squadron was decommissioned?

Be more specific: The featured choppers are the largest helicopters in the US armed forces' inventory (and the largest such aircraft built outside Russia). They are not the largest helicopters in the world.

@@SynGates-bm5pw Oh you mean the one that didn't fly in? The one that's just sitting there? The video was HM-15 returning from deployment in their MH-53E aircraft. Yes, the Marines are part of the Navy, but Marines don't fly MH's. The point I was making is the video was mislabeled and wrong.

The largest chopper is from the mil company, in Russia. It named Mi-26 halo, the super stallion the largest chopper in the u.s army, not in the world.

mi-26 is outdated. The latest Ch53, ch-53k has 7500 hp per engine, 22500 in total. Mi 26 only get 16000

The Banguards, why don't they show a real outfit like the Blackhawks. Oh that is right the Blackhawks are probably out doing real Military work, and the banguards where still learning how to do that. by Old retired Blackhawk Sailor.
