Poly gram expanded very fast and the firm was keen to have multiple copies of sweet heart singers like Priscilla in late 80s. However financial crisis in 1997 dragged the firm down. Priscilla claimed to be affected however many more singers like Vivian Chow, 鄭嘉穎 were even forced to quit the musical market. Priscilla was struggling hard to produce. 2. Starting from 1999, broadband became popular and bt based song sharing causing the sales of physical media dropped drastically 3. Starting from 1998, there were many many female singers coming out and each of them just lasted for 2-3 years in the peak moments. Sammi and Kelly are examples and Priscilla was deemed as old and mature at that moment.
