I got most logical detail or its my theory.. When hridaraj desouza tells about Leo story then he starts the story from year 1999 , but Leo's birth year from 1977 , so he should start the story from 1980 but he starts from 1999 means he wants to tell us half or dead story of Leo.. 2 Facts... 1st Anurag Kashyap is not any junior artist to die like that in the movie. There is something fishy about the Leo's back story. 2nd Friend of Leo who commited suicide or killed by Anthony Das has something to do with Leo's past. He was just happy to see Leo alive and Leo was not comfortable with him being around. Story told by Hrudayaraj is fake which can be judge by Parthiban school certificates and photos showed to Trisha by one of Leo's friend. May be Leo took someone identity as Parthiban.
