Your explanation is much better and clearer than that from the Martha Stewart craft channel. But I already got a cutting tool/board and a scoring tool/board so this one it more like just a light table for me. :T

I like mine for doing parchment work and anything with papers I can see thru...I use it to cut colored papers too. Not the best in the world, but it works for me...I was gifted with one. I put it away and forgot about it, when I finally found it about a yr later it was damaged, so I called the co that made it and they sent me a new one, and didn't even want the old one back...SO I was able to keep the 2nd set of tools..that was cool. I was very impressed with that co...just sayin" for me it works fine for the work I do on it...

It is true that we have all those tools, but........ separated!!!!!! i think it is great to have them all in one, specially if your work area isn´t very big, i am gonna get this tool, fell in love with it, besides it helps the light for everything else, as always she invented something great.

This is great...I dont think that the price is too much if you dont have any of those things. a light box could run you $50, a stamp a ma jig is at least $10 and good trimmer is about $20...so after you run around and get all those alone you would of spent that....I think its great maybe for a new crafter.

this light board sucks. you can barely see the images on normal white paper. FORGET about using any colour cardstock including white! you cannot see the images below the glass the lights are not powerful and so a giant waste of money.
