As an international fan I completely disagree on the part that Cha Eun Woo isn't good at acting. His thumbnail caught my attention in my ID is Gangnam beauty alright. I thought it was going to be a sappy drama with sappy characters due to the beautiful actors and actresses in it. But boy was I wrong. I especially got impressed with Eun woo's character in the drama because he nailed the cold image he was meant to portray to perfection, to the extent that a lot of fans that Saw him for the first time ever in that drama thought he was like that in real life till they started looking him up and discovered he is actually the opposite of himself in my ID is Gangnam beauty. What does that tell you? He is obviously a very good actor. His attractive features is just a bonus when it comes to his acting. In Rookie historian, a lot of people felt his Acting wasn't good enough in the first few episode of course he was supposed to give off the overly romantic and silly vibes of sheltered prince and be did he so well that if you are watching him for the first time you'll think his acting weak. He was literally giving off the "Weak prince" vibes and be nailed it. His vocals too especially live vocals is very good ,he works very hard to be better at what he does and that's one thing I admire about cha eun woo. People should also really really look into his other skills and talents beyond just his handsome face. Handsome face isn't enough to sustain you in the entertainment industry and cha eun woo excels at acting. All the awards he won was really merited not because his loyal fans watched because he is handsome it's a very big misconception. I have a lot of things to say but watch out for cha eun woo, his growth process in acting , singing and dancing will keep improving and he never disappoints with each come back.

I though Eunwoo did a really good job in Gangnam Beauty, he's the reason why I got into Astro. Not just because of his face, but his personality on screen was so different compared to how he was off screen. He did so well playing the role of Do Kyung Soo! And his character in Rookie Historian was supposed to be childish and innocent, I don't think a lot of people who watched the drama got that message. He portrayed the role of Lee Rim really well (in my opinion) and enhanced the naive nature of the character by incorporating some of his own personalty traits. Eunwoo has said time and time again that he doesn't want to just be a pretty face, but unfortunately that's all people point out :(

I love both kdramas My ID is Gangnam Beauty and Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung. Gangnam Beauty may not have been his best acting performance but he did a decent job. He was so charismatic and fun to watch that I quickly became a fan. Practice makes perfect and Rookie Historian shows he has improved!!! Yes he is handsome, but there’s more to him than just being “good-looking” and “face genius”. He’s clearly educated and smart. to be honest I didn't agree with a few things, I never knew how Cha Eunwoo looked, I heard an audio sent by my kpop friend and that's when I was astonished at his voice, It was the song together by him! So i think he sings really well apart from his good looks.

I just wanted to say, I know no one asked for my opinion, but I experience all of these things throughout growing up like eun woo(I’m not him and but we are similar in a few way). I feel the need to look perfect for people all the time and many people call me pretty and stuff, this puts a huge pressure on me to become the perfect version of myself, which is impossible. When I sing, I break down because I want to reach the highest note even if I can’t. When I dance, I dance till midnight because I want it to be the best thing anyone has ever seen. I realised that I was only living to please others while I neglected my self, all I’m saying is that it was hard, I did so much things that damaged my mind and my body, he might also be going through this... Cha eun woo is not as good as those who have been doing acting for years, but imagine you being the centre of the attention all the time, it makes you feel like you need to look perfect all the time, acting is about being yourself and it’s really hard if you want to keep looking like a beauty while on camera, even dancing and singing, just because you are handsome doesn’t mean that you have to be 100% at everything, to me, him being able to dance, sing, act and excel in a lot of things I already the best thing. I watched EunWoo's series, without knowing who he was, and without being a fan of him. I didn't see anything wrong with his acting, the characters he played were perfect as they were. Then I discovered that Eun-Woo sang, and I loved his voice and his songs both as a soloist and with Astro. Later I started looking for interviews and there I was able to see the beautiful personality and charisma that he has. After seeing the comments they made about his physical beauty, I began to analyze it well and yes, they were right, he is beautiful. But I think that he is not just a pretty face, but the combination of all his strengths. That's why he radiates so much magic. Maybe in Korea people are more artistic and have more knowledge of acting and singing, but for millions of fans, Eun-Woo is a great artist and we are happy that he wants to continue making music and kdramas.
