Chaak Ngaan is a very unique method of cooking rice. The basic principle behind this method is steaming.
The B'Ngaan was traditionally made with clay/soil. But they were not portable. So, now it's made with metal for more durability.
These method is used when there is a large gathering.
There is another method using drums but the same principle - steaming practised by the Marings residing in Eastern front near the Myanmar border.
