My boots definitely hurt the top of my feet the same way. For the break-in period, I skpped the second eyes. After they broke in, I tied them normal, and they were fine. Most comfortable boots I've ever had

Drew's boots are made in Mexico. It's just Frank's, whites, Nick's and JK that make the pnw boots

Might want to be careful oiling around the heel stack and leather midsole, oil can delaminate the glues and split the soles

I was thinking the same, although he has the wax. It's still the same thing, right?
@chachicharms
@chachicharms Жыл бұрын
@@averyj.steele1074 He is 100 percent correct. I have seen that happen to other boots and that is exactly why i wax the heel. I saw a few folks that did not hydrate the leather and it delaminated. I will say that if it does delaminate it will not bother me. As long as the boot functions as intended. Those things are nailed down well.
@chachicharms

Thanks i was under the impression that hydrating the sole would protect it. I shall look into it i may be wrong.
@mattcastellanos2178
@mattcastellanos2178 Жыл бұрын
@@chachicharms I think you can condition the heel stack and midsole just avoid certain oils which delaminate - if you care. Mink oil might be a good option.

Its the 1964 leather. Look at a previous one of my vids and you will see them new. Way lighter in color. The bottom is roughout the top is smooth.

what kind of toe structure do they have?
@chachicharms
@chachicharms Жыл бұрын
Great question! you can customize it. I opted for the Sprung toe and after a while you can hardly tell look at the video i made when i first got them. I will say anything you alter out of the ordinary might increase lead time for your boot.

@chachicharms

@@Sturnburn772 soft toe Stanley But i opted for the sprung toe which is a little taller. I have no idea if it made a difference i just wanted extra toe room.

NICK DO THEY STINK??????
@mad0uche
@mad0uche Жыл бұрын
that's the best thing about leather boots with no fabrics, no insoles, no synthetic materials, they don't stink, and when they get wet you can put them on a boot dryer without shrinking like a regular shoe.
