I discovered Weiss through your performance and fell in the rabbit hole. But still after hours and hours, I keep coming back to your duet version of this Chaconne, simply because it is the most beautifull that can be heard.

It's funny, but true. I often put the YT 'Lutes' playlist on while working at my desk, but I always seem to end up watching the Lute Duo videos over and over again. They're magical. So much for my productivity...

Listening to this chaconne (played solo), together with other compositions, including Francesco da Milano, in a recording by Guy Robèrt, many years ago, that I fell in love with the lute.

Even for someone like me who appreciates the music of Silvius Weiss, this was unusually moving. I will try to find this on CD...

Hello! I have a few questions about this piece. I found it in the london manuscript, but the second lute is missing. i think it is lost isnt it? so is that your interpretation for the second lute or can i find this anywhere? i couldnt find any other voices for chamber music or duets in this manuscript at all, i think its all lost or am i wrong?
