Skate companies not showing up for this pissed me off too. Seeing him come over the hill alone in Tennessee I was struck by the solitude he was facing and couldn’t believe he had no support. Was glad to be able to offer him some small measure of support along the way. Chad is a true legend

Very Much deserved. Not one skateboard brand gave him the time of day. They had a month and a half to get in a van and go say hi and tell him there’s a box or two headed his way. I live far away and I’m ashamed for not getting out to see him and just give a hug and high five.

If you remember Heath Kirchart biked across America back in 2010. Pro skater and he didn’t even push across America. Chad’s journey was awesome and should be watched my millions. The interactions, cause, scenery, and ending were amazing.

True Inspiration! Honestly, 36yrs old.. he makes me want to get back into the skate world. Took a break for no reason(addictions) and feel like I'm ready for a change. "I didn't get old because of skateboarding, I got old because I quit skateboarding."

Man I’ve been watching this guy forever. Would watch him and NKA and nine club all around the same time when my friend died and restarted skating about 6 years ago. When Kelly said he was doing NBDs and he was just like “yeah” it brought a tear to my eye. Mad respect. So much positivity from him and brought to my life in a much needed time. Super stoked to listen to this

Chad's daily video uploads have been the only youtube content I have ever watched on a daily basis. I looked forward to his new vids every day. He documented his amazing trip in a very personal and honest way without frills and B.S . Much appreciation and respect. I started following his trip after he was a few weeks in and caught some type of sober bug from it he inspired me to cut out my every other day beer and I wasn’t even trying to stop. Feeling 100% better now obviously there were other factors but what Chads message was is that we don’t need it, our lives improve without it (specifically alcohol)
