FOX 10 Investigator Justin Lum spoke with Juror 11 in the Chad Daybell trial, days after a jury found the so-called “Doomsday Prophet” guilty of murdering JJ Vallow, Tylee Ryan and Tammy Daybell. The same jury unanimously decided to sentence Daybell to death. Juror 11 provides insight on the overwhelming evidence and witnesses presented in the triple murder trial.

Sadly I don't think they got Lori's sentencing right...I don't see the purpose of keeping these two alive taking away tax payer resources. These two have nothing positive to contribute to the world. Also upsetting is that they still have access to have communication with their followers and look like a martyr. Who's to say that the followers aren't as well planning on harming people in the future but if they did I wouldn't be surprised. This is a dangerous cult...

The only time he showed emotion was when people spoke well of Tammy. He's a narcissist and his whole defense was a smear campaign against Tammy, along with the badmouthing her before she died. When people said nice things about her, said she had friends, she was loved, it made him visibly angry. He shook his head, he'd fidget, turned red. To him, she was his property and he was done with her. It killed him to think she was a person independent of him and that she was loved and valued for more than just being his wife.

Chad has said he has always know his life had a first and a second part & that Tammy would die young. So instead of taking his beloved wife for a yearly checkup to make sure she stayed healthy ? No…. He knew he would be free to have a new life & new wife because he felt HE deserved it. Well he did get a second part of his life , new wife ,and even a new home, for each of the separately. 🤡🤡

💯 Anything Chad would've said in his defense would've been a lie. He had to have realized that the lies that his children told under oath didn't help him at all. Emma and Garth's testimonies helped the prosecution by providing even more evidence that Chad has complete control over the people who love him. IMO Chad knows that he only has power over the people who love and trust him so he didn't waste his time trying to manipulate the jury.

A lawyer with a YT channel believes their strategy is to appeal with the notion that they believe the law (or whatever it is) that says if you hire an attorney, you won't have access to the state attorneys. He chose to pay his attorney, and Prior's "defense" was that if Chad were to opt for the latter, then Prior would have to step down off the case. So, we'll see how it plays out if that really is their strategy. If it is, then maybe that's why Chad seemed so smug at times and didn't say anything in his defense at the end.

This story would be very embarrassing for Chad to convey to a jury and Tammy’s family. He is disgusting and vile. Chad never held a high position in the church. He was an executive secretary, which is the jackpot if you want to see how the sausage is made, but he was never a bishop, which isn't all that high. I think this was part of his frustration. Having visions allows you to end run around the hierarchy, unless you take it too far.

This causes a great many hurt feelings as usually the same 10 to 12 people get higher callings and they just switch out. It is the same in the women’s organizations. Also money plays a huge part. If you are wealthy you will get a high calling and so will your wife. So normal middle of the road people are overlooked no matter how talented or spiritual they are.

It’s a really confusing ordeal because Chad had been preaching about this nonsense for YEARS before lori came along. I think he had every intention of building a commune and being a cult leader in Rexburg before lori threw a wrench in that plan. lori wasn’t about to live in THAT little town or his uggly house. She convinced him to target Hawaii for their cult instead. Turns out there’s a decent LDS population there too!

Chad was most definitely physically involved in the brutal murder, mutilation, and burning of Tylee's body. Maybe not JJ's. It would take far too long for just one person to carry this out. His text to Tammy was very revealing of his involvement.

Yes. He smiled during closing each time what was done to Tylee’s body was mentioned. It was like he was reliving this and was proud of it. Also, his text to Tammy about the raccoon, burning limbs, etc. put him right there at the scene. He hated Tylee because she disliked him. Her uncle Alex was just an executioner and would have probably just have disposed of her body the same way he did J.J.s. Also Chad mentioned “turning up the pain”.
@christieprince6991
@christieprince6991 2 ай бұрын
What happened to JJ when Chad carried him upstairs and came down later red-faced and without JJ? Melanie Gibbs asked Chad what happened -cos he had scratches on his neck and red faced. Chad reportedly said it was Because JJ had inflicted the scratches on him. That was the last time JJ was seen standing on his feet active and talking. It's possible when Alex carried what appeared to be a sleeping JJ home late that night, it may have been pretentiously set up to appear JJ was still Alive.

@kateashby3066
@kateashby3066 2 ай бұрын
It’s not. Chad wanted MONEY, he wasn’t trying to avoid sinning. He also wanted to be a widower instead of a divorce because in his culture it’s shunned to divorce and he wanted to appear righteous. So it has zero to do with following religious doctrine and everything to do with EGO.

I would guess that Chad did not say anything on his own behalf because he does not recognize the laws of this country and the courts have any authority over him. He is superior to all of us and any intuition that we might construct. And, he still believes that he is in direct communication with God / Jesus and something will happen (natural disaster?) that will will put Chad back as the ruler of all the world. His beliefs are really out there, absolutely kooky. Great interview Justin, thank you.
