People don't understand his ideology. He has a "broke" mentality so that he won't spend more than what he has too. When I came out of the army I managed to save up 53k in my 3½ year military career after making about 100k. The reason I was able to save half of my earnings was because I lived on base in a tiny barracks room for free and ate for free at the chow hall 3 times a day. I bought a cash car for like 3k. Meanwhile other soldiers wanted to be extravagant and buy themselves 20k-30k cars and get a house off base and go out to eat everyday sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. Also most soldiers went to bars and clubs on the weekends and drank heavily therefore spent lots of money on just partying. I was simple. I stayed on base and found a female soldier here and there or a civilian woman off base that could keep me company. When i came home i had 53k in my account which by no means is a lot of money. 53k won't last but a year or two if you don't have a steady income. So when I came home i still had that "broke" mentality. I remember hanging out with old friends who were truly broke! I mean these guys had a couple hundred dollars in their account and some of them were still asking friends and family for loans just to get by until next week. I guess one day I was in a bragging mood so I showed my friends on my phone how much was in my account. They went crazy! "Pay for my meal", "buy me a drink", "loan me some money". And I always smiled at them and told them, "I can't I'm broke dude". They'd get so mad and show me their accounts with a couple hundred dollars and say, "I'm the one that's broke!". I always explained to them that 53k isn't shit. It could be gone by the end of the year if I didn't take care of it.

How in the fuck can you not like chad johnson? He's definitely got charisma and a wonderful personality. I live here in cincinnati and back in the summer of 2006 chad literally stopped in the bar i was at for only 20 mins or so. He bought the entire bar/restaurant a drink ...left a killer undisclosed tip(huge smiling servers) and went on his way in his white dodge magnum (at the time. I happened to have a fresh football in my truck and i said hi to chad outside of bar and mentioned i had a ball and thanked him for the drink and asked if he could catch just one deep one for me if i threw. He said can you throw 50 yards? I said, i can do 55. He took off running in parking lot. I threw it deep every bit of 55 and dropped it in chad's eggbasket hands so smoothly. Chad came back all smiling we smacked hands and i said i really appreciate what you are doing here in cincinnati. (i was almost 7 years old when the 1988 Bengals superbowl loss). He said ya know everyone said aw man sucks bengals drafted you (2001 draft) and he said to them ya know what im going to make it fun. Boy did he ever!! Chad johnson is a LEGEND!! THE MAN WOULD BUY OUT THE STADIUM TICKETS JUST SO IT COULD BE TELEVISED(BACK IN THE DAYS THEY HAD BLACK OUTS)...Alot of people dont know him like a lot of true fans do. He is a great guy and has done many things no one knows about or that he even cares to get credit for.

Dude kept trying to make Chad say something else but he couldn't break him. When you work hard for your money you need to place extra added value to it. Those big homes and exotic cars are nothing but money drainers. Invest that money because if its only going out and coming in no matter how much money you have you will eventually end up broke.

and you can get ALL THOSE cars for less than 100k. Not much when most affordable houses are like 500k. These guys get these cars for 2-3 years and then sell them off anyway so in the end they didnt even pay much to get these cars

The difference between chad and TO is that, chad is still rich and TO lost 100 million. But to your point, yep AB didn’t learn from both chad n TO, now he’s outta the NFL too

There’s a difference in being broke & being poor. Being broke is a mindset , being poor is not being able to afford things financially
