Hey @@Dave-im3lm not a ‘real’ music fan then? I suppose Chad’s not for everyone but at least have some respect for his 70+ years on stage. The man is an ‘icon’ and uses ‘3 chords and the truth’ that some will never understand.

I had a beer with Chad at the Blackwater Hotel, Central Queensland, in 1983 (or was it '86?). He was playing at the CWA hall. We had walked into the pub after a day at the Comet pub I think, and Chad was sitting at the bar. I pulled up a stump and had a bit of a yarn with him. Bloody nice bloke. His musical stylings are an acquired taste. I always get a smile when I hear a Chad Morgan song.

While we were watching Chad at the Logan Village Inn back in the early 90's one of the kids in the front row dropped a glass and broke it. Well Chad just stopped, looked at the boy and told him, if you don't sit still and stop fidgeting Uncle Chad is going to ripped you a new arse. Well everyone broke out laughing and that kid didn't move again. Fantastic show.

I didn't click at the time but he was dressed as a Aussie Galah which is known as the Joker of the birds. To this day im sure thats what his intension was?.
