I like how she says she kinda doesn't need any more properties. Some people just never stop even though they don't need anymore. Enjoying life is important.

What an incredible interview. I can really relate to Heather’s desire to have an adventurous, fulfilling life that balances a focus on finance and the things they value most. Her strength, courage and goodness are clearly a beacon of light in the world and it’s amazing that their 7 rental properties are allowing them to comfortably retiree in their early 50s!

Definitely a great story from an very inspiring women. Unfortunately very few people can get themselves out of being homeless to achieve success in their lives. Coach Carson you need to do a better job in making your guest answer how their achieved their success otherwise the show will be mostly about mindset, which is nice but we have heard it a million times before. I would have loved to hear how she 1. Found the properties 2. Financed the properties 3. How she is managing the properties . Also as a side note, I would have been interested to know what happened to her sister. You have a great podcast but you need to take control of your interviews.

My sister has bipolar disorder and sadly turned to drugs to self medicate. We have tried to help her dozens of times to get her life on track but she can’t seem to make that happen. It breaks my heart. She had two additional children that have both been adopted by loving families. Happy to answer any other questions. -Heather.

I found my first property the old fashion way, searching mls listings. My first home cost me $100k. I got the first time home buyer program and squeezed into it by the skin of my teeth. I had to sell my car to get my debt ratio down and then bused to work for several months. I manage most of my properties myself. I do have one condo in Florida that is a short term rental and have a property manager. However this November, I am taking that one over as well. Hope this helps. Happy to answer any more questions. -Heather.

Coach, thank you for providing such a wealth of resources, especially to us with little to no experience. I also appreciate how you lead your guests with questions in interviews. The way you had dialogue with Heather about the humane aspects of her journey was refreshing. It wasn't just a focus on the financials and the quantifiable elements, which is a good reminder to us all no matter what step we're at.

The motivational speeches are great and all but can you as the interviewer ask more questions on deal numbers plus down payment, repair costs, etc. that alone will be helpful.

This is a wholesome and inspiring interview. Her life story is uniquely challenging yet I can draw a lot of parallels from her experiences and attitude. It feels so authentic when she talks about when to aggressively go for your goals and when you slow down and enjoy the moment and be contented. Coach is a great interviewer too, he never interrupts and never puts words in her mouth and let her be the focus, which is how a great interviewer should be. Thanks for the wonderful content!
