i think the trip is more about unexploring yourself rather than exploring yourself, your dropping your regular life and seeing where your true values lie , and what you really care about while on the road .

Ha, never thought about your trip in a Forest Gump aspect, very cool. It must be wild to know your uploads are something a ton of people look forward to everyday. It’ll be a bittersweet ending once you complete this journey.

That is called chip seal. It is cheaper than a proper resurfacing. They lay down a bunch of tar and then spread gravel over it. Then hit it with a street cleaner. But the shoulder and outside of the wheel tracks can still have loose gravel. Bad for motorcyclists. No visual difference between fixed grippy surface and loose no traction surface.

Bro, I just have to say this- was immediately hooked on these early on after hearing you say "yo!" or "whattup!?" to various animals. So many people are kind to animals, or mean to animals, but I've rarely known people who treat them as equals and address them as such. I love meeting animals and making a very quick friend in passing, and I can tell you do too. Respect ✊

Very true about the whole learning slash forgetting about yourself. I like that. People have always pushed and directed me and made me be who they wanted me to be. Until I as around 42-43 did I start to realize that I can do me as long as I met my responsibilities. Dude, so many nice people out there. So great. America is truly amazing. I have a friend who is an immigrant and he said he’s been to most of the world and people in America are more caring than the people anywhere else he has been. Your pushing on weaker side has made me step up and try on my longboard, I never thought I would make it. 10 feet but I am doing it now and getting better, have to ease the stress on a nagging calf, knee injury from long ago, doing switch ups my time on the board. Keep pushing, rain will be a. Big test. Push on!
