I agree, the hatch bungies are not necessary. My fix was to remove them, drill a couple of holes out a little bigger and stick a Nite ize Gear tie through them. I bend the ends up to make rod stagers that keep rod tips inside the center line and not sliding to the outside of the gunnels.

i bought the cheap rubber v type arrow rest for bows and superglued it to the top of my flex drive peddles to lean a rod in and hold it u could get them and glue on side...the hold rods pritty good

I will sometimes that I would put a 25qt Orion Cooler in the place of the seat assembly and use the small tracks to secure the cooler. This also put you at a higher elevation. Nice honest review.

Good review. For more rocker the Coosa HD is worth a look. I use a seat cushion to sit a little higher which is nice because I can remove it quickly in rapids when I want to sit lower.

This sounds structurally similar to the Crescent Lite Tackle, although the LT lacks a power-pole mount (but without the wonderful front hold of the LT).

I do love my liska and I've been paddling it for 2 seasons now. The middle scupper issue i noticed but obviously went away when I put a transducer there. With the paddle holder I used to usea hybrid idea. Running the roto paddle holder and putting part of the paddle in the bungee and locking it with the root. I have a few other rigging things but like you said everyone has their preferences. Enjoyed your review mate.

I had my Liska for 2 years and it's been a great river boat. I have gone through Class 2 rapids with no issues. It's very stable boat compared to Jackson Cruise or a Tarpon 120. The Jackson Cruise and the Tarpon 120 paddles better but not as stable as Liska. The aluminum tubing seat is great on Liska and your back will thank you after a day of paddling. The center hatch with track is designed for a fish finder. I don't use a fish finder on the river. So I bought a utility sink stopper from Walmart and plugged the scupper hole and just use it for extra storage. There is plenty room for your fishing stuff in this boat. I never had an issue with bungy cord on the front hatch getting caught on any of my fishing rods, but that's not say couldn't happen. I like the bungy cords since it gives you a place to park your paddle. Not sure why you need Yak Attack paddle holder when you have paddle holder on each side of the kayak, but that's just matter of preference I guess.

I've really been considering picking up a liska if it's anything like the original cuda 12 it replaced. How is the speed on the liska? I prefer more speed vs stability, wish it was 32" wide instead of 34".

How does the Liska compare to the Bite for function, comfort, tracking, etc. Did you find the seat on the Bite to also sit a bit low?
