The instructions for the 5610 say not to plug in or unplug the unit with the ignition on.

Have you tried using it to do a throttle body relearn yet? I’m looking into picking one up to relearn the throttle body I just put in my Chrysler, and I was curious how well that feature works

Quick question I have the car scan advisor plus repair solutions to model 5210 OBD2 I have a Nissan 2003 Infiniti G35 my engine lights on I just replaced a radiator oil pan I pretty much sort down to the police the front end and put it back together again and now my check engine light is on is that a good car scanner to use on my car

@@ChadMyers73 I'm so sorry about the comment it didn't work and I should have paid more attention to it but I have also a 5-year-old that I was trying to get my full attention Non-Stop I apologize I was just wondering if you think the Innova repair solutions2 would be ok to use on my car or should I return it and use another type and could you recommend one.My check light came on.Sorry again about the scrambled up comment.Thank you.

Does this scanner count live misfires and identify what cylinders are misfiring?

It’s does have engine live data but I’m not sure about reading the individual coil pack per cylinder.

What truck are you using this with? I have a 15 power stroke that I'm looking for a reasonably priced code reader to take on road trips. None of the Innovas say whether they are diesel compatible.

Can u have this plugged in while driving? Been getting a flashing check engine light that will go away after a few flashes when I get into it.

Yes it has live data but the check engine will be stored in memory.

the 5610 says yes it will reset yours. The 5160rs will not !!

@@4207Points Previously under the "coverage checker" under support tab on the website it was not listed as capable. I sent an email several months back asking the same thing. No response from them but checking again under support shows it is compatible now. Probably firmware related my guess.

Blue driver is a little bit limited on older cars. but its not a bad scanner to have. Id probably pair it with a scanner thats more focused on ABS , SRS, and transmission info for best results

It has more Features available for instance being able to read the OBD one ports as well with the purchase of different adapters.

ASE certified doesn't mean a lot. I know a few guys that I wouldn't trust to change a tail light that are ASE certified. Still American tools are way better than the china trash.
