He fought the middleweight goat (silva) and arguably dominated him. The light heavyweight goat (jones) and arguably the heavyweight goat (fedor). Like the op said, he may have never won a belt, but you don’t fight the greatest of all time in 3 different weight classes by being an average fighter.

@@collarmcpoppins8133yh but he's a small heavyweight that carries a lot of extra weight, IE it's not muscle to add strength to his punch. He's basically a chubby light heavyweight, or even middleweight. Rampage and Sonnen both fought multiple fighters that are bigger than Fedor. So it's not just the fact he's a heavyweight. Fedor his extremely hard regardless of weight class. Pound for pound one of the hardest punches in MMA history.

@@collarmcpoppins8133 haha his height and frame is that of a small light heavyweight. Ryan bader is bigger. Jon Jones is bigger. Izzy is bigger. He's the size of bisping with a bit more muscle and fat. I'm absolutely right about what I've said. Which actually makes what he achieved even more impressive. Almost every opponent he fought was bigger. You are clearly absolutely clueless. And yea Rampage and Sonnen have fought bigger guys. I will always respect the warrior within this dude. Anybody who says Uncle Chael is not a total bad-ass mf'r has never faced off in a real way where you risk your health in a very real way. He never has been the one to shy away from a real fight.

Chael is a wise ass but in reality he's honest and a class act. Fedor pound for pound is the GOAT, and very humble .

Fedor's FEROCIOUS power is what really set him apart... He never had the most precise punches as a lot were very awkward thus I believe he even broke his hand on more than one occasion but his angles and power even when he didn't directly connect were unreal... True legend
