Chael, don't try to act so naive. Jones knew what he was doing and he also knew he would be tested. I honestly think he told himself it was worth the risk as he felt he would not have the edge to beat cormier without whatever enhancing drug he was taking. First time, I still didn't give him the benefit of the doubt as I truly believe he has always been a cheater. I'm at the point where I want him banned not only in the UFC for life, but mma as a whole. Someone with an artificial edge combined with the level of his skill set is a lethal threat to any of his potential opponents. Jones is the lance armstrong of mma. Just think about what he has done to Daniel Cormier's career and legacy. His life and emotions, for life. The punishment needs to be so harsh so that no one else dares to cheat again. I found a hole in Jones' story... the fact he couldn't explain why turinabol was in his system in the first place. Makes his "dick pill" defense from the last case look flimsy. The real problem here is that he has now tested positive twice, which means regardless of how they got into his body, they have been in his body. PEDs don't just enhance your performance while they are in you, they change body permanantly. I have been using Test E for 3 years and not only have I increased my lean muscle mass by 20 pounds, but my bone mass, cardiac out put, best 100, and 5k have all improved. While these numbers drop somewhat when I am off, they have never come close to my pre PED levels. You can never un-take PEDs Jon can never claim to be a clean fighter, he can only claim to be off PEDs

Some things to think about: The most likely scenario for someone who failed a drug test is that they knowingly took the drugs themselves. Other possibilities exist but that one HAS to be entertained first, to discount that possibility is very very stupid. Given that possibility, the next most probable thing to occur is for the cheater to defend themselves and lie. It is by FAR the most appealing outcome to the cheating athlete, they look like they did nothing wrong, no punishment if people choose to believe them. Given Jons past record of shady behaviour, its more than likely he would try this. Then theres the psychological evidence, and the fact that he chooses his words carefully to make a fool of himself, like saying he would never admit to taking steroids rather than say clearly that he hasnt nor will take steroids. If you entertain the idea that Jon knowingly took PED's and got high in the 10 minute break before his testimony, it explains everything, the embarrassing slips like "never admit to steroids" calling the commission "dude" 3-4 times, basically lying his face off to paint himself in an innocent light, the speed at which he answers a question about the danger of an opponent on steroids and how he consciously thinks and delays his answer when asked the same thing about himself. If you cant see straight through Jon Jones you are too much of a fan of his, like most of the commission admitted at the end!!
