I know a thousand other people have said it, but Michael Bisping got knocked out by Hendo, in a fashion that would make most people retire from the sport. He kept going. Not only did he keep going, he took on PED users, some of whom got dodgy decisions against him, he also lost the sight in one eye, and KNOCKED OUT the guy who had already one arm choked him previously. Did he rest on his laurels? NO, he fought the guy who gave him that embarrassing moment. Did he win the fight? Maybe not. He still took that fight on with one eye. He then fought the greatest welterweight of all time, with one eye and gave him a decent fight. He then took a fight on short notice against Gastelum, even though everyone knew he couldn't see out of one eye, just to save a card half way around the world.

Bisping because that's an obvious one, but one of the things that makes Condit one of my favourite ever fighters is how he never backed down and how often I was gobsmacked that he was still standing after some of the hits he took. Elite mentality and toughness. Carlos Condit was almost supernatural at times.

Toughest has got to be Jeremy Horn. Watch his fight with Chuck Liddell, it's crazy. He gives up verbally, calmly, after getting hit with about 50 bombs, because he couldn't see. He has one of the craziest records in MMA history. Dude fought like every month. Greatest is Fedor, no contest. It's a shame he's kept fighting.

I guess it depends on how you ask the question what do you mean by toughest? toughest as in toughest to beat in a fight overall? or who can seemingly take the most damage in a fight and keep going? My answer to 1) is either nick diaz or dominik cruz My answer to 2) is Yoel romero or josh Neer who is a good friend of mine and i have sparred with him a quite a bit so I know just how tough he is
