Dana elaborated on the hulu documentary a bit. iirc it seemed like he/UFC are going to also have a side business of consulting and training other acts who want to go to the Sphere. Possibly leasing equipment/training other teams on workflows and use the equipment and tech to put on a show there.

This has been in the works for a year… Dana has made some large claims(predicting it surpasses the live gate) The conviction and passion he puts out when talking about the sphere card with the events production; that alone is making me anticipate it as much or more than ufc300…. And that’s without knowing a single fight other than the obvious co-main in Grasso vs Shevchenko. The lead up to 300 months out Chael was putting out so many great videos literally just having fun with not knowing the main event. Hopefully we see the same thing here because there is a LOT to unpack.

Dana has made it clear It was more to do with his long standing deal with MGM. He can’t just go to the sphere based on their agreement/contract. But Al Haymon and mgm f*cked him by booking a boxing event causing Dana to apply pressure and make MGM allow him the event at the sphere hence the “one time”. Ppl think it’s bcuz of the budget, while that can be true, we’re talking about a guy that says his limit at the casino is 6mil so i doubt it’s the money he’d be “wasting”

I really think the sphere is just the first in the next generation of live entertainment. There will be more spheres that will be bigger and doper and who knows maybe every UFC will be in one some day

They screwed themselves booking the sphere for the Noche card. They either have to book a very weak Mexican focused card. Or book a blockbuster PPV but just give some weak lipservice to Mexico. They are mutually exclusive.

Mcgregor toe was broken right before June 3rd that means he has about 5 weeks of healing right now and that gives him 8 weeks from now to train for September 14th toes take 4-6 weeks but can take longer. So for Conor to fight at the sphere it’s really close for him to have a short 8 week camp and to be healed fully in 5-6 weeks of over all healing. Not looking good that’s a lot of pressure on mcgregor to be 💯% by then
