i think the reason why the chorus is so off putting is because the instrumentals are so fast but the vocals come in a little late so it feels out of beat/extra laggy? im sure if they placed the vocals a little bit earlier like a semiquaver earlier it would sound decent to the ear edit: also the stress put on the cocA coLa MasShiDa like unnecessarily elongating certain syllables a little if they kept the coca cola masitda notes even it would've sounded more comprehensive (?????) like how they sing the lines in the verses it starts lagging after the first i dont ever want us to be "apart". starting from there i think the producer didnt time it properly so the next "i dont ever want us to be" is already off beat. just fix the timing n i think it will already sound atleast acceptable to the ear
