Great video I always have issues keeping the Chaeto out of my pumps, it is like sand at the beach it always gets into everywhere.

Never had that problem. Mine always kinda sticks together and remains in the same spot. Do u have to much flow where u got your chaeto?

@@ReefUnderTheRoof No very slow flow in the sump, I just added a filter sock so that may help, I have a un used Kessil 160 H that will help, my other led is probably not strong enough for growth so the Cheat gets to thin, I will test this tank as well tomorrow. Thanks again

Interesting video I have a type of chaeto right now that is very tight and clumpy, but in the past I had one that was just like a huge mat of spaghetti - I wonder which was which?

Yeah, in this video I was explaining those two. Very different strain. U can see it from the pics I provided in this video.

I found a hard segmented plant rizome. It looks like a minuscule bamboo curled stick now. I was told it was chaeto (pronunciated kaeto). I have a hard time identifying it as I went from salicornia to sea grass and some macro algae. My plant rizome is longer than it was before and has curled up a bit. I have no corals in my 5 months old tank. It is super tiny and it’s as thick as a penny.

Awesome episode Goran - didn't know the 2 types of Chaeto are for 2 different uses. My nutrients are pretty low so I don't run one but maybe in the future.
