I use O4C chain and it works well.

Turn the motor 90 degrees so the chain is laying down on a support and the idlers just stop the chain moving up.

I made a similar machine using a #25 chain for both x and y axis. The problem I had was a weak motor driver I increased the amperage and now it pushes about 15 -18lbs before the motors skip steps. Your chain looks like overkill get a bicycle size . I think #30 the one you have might be a #40. Nice machine.

Yes i think the smaller chain 04c would be better, this machine is already running using a different system and i will upload the installation soon.

Actually, I did not continue the chain drive because it did not work for me. I'm using rach and pinion now.

@@EfrensDIYCreations I also use rack and gear with an accuracy of 0.01, because these accessories are easy to purchase and the price is cheap.
