I have been fortunate enough to have traveled the world with my career which also includes working in many of the states in America. Over the last 40 years I came to realize that there is only one place in the world that offers absolutely everything for everyone- - as for industrial manufacturing and technology - Michigan is the only area in the world that can manufacture everything no other place in the world offers that - it’s also the largest playground. Yes - I would say I’m happy to have been able to see as much as I have and have the ability to make northern Michigan my home- 😊

This is so very true. A friend in Texas was telling me on Discord about how the local pool was at capacity already. I said "well, just go to the lake, go to a beach." It took them 20 minutes to get me to understand that the nearest lake was over 2 hours away. I was absolutely flabbergasted. Couldn't imagine not having a body of water just down the way.

This is so beautiful and amazing. I sure wish there were a few more opportunities for camping along the way like the Manistee or AuSable (benefit of national forest). Not a complaint, just a wish.

Yeah, I’m not wearing a PFD all day in the sun while I’m kayaking sorry I’ll have one with me, but I’m not wearing it. People should be allowed to make their own choice on that one.

She says it starts in Ellsworth, but there are launch points in 6 mile lake, quite a bit further upstream. Why does this say Ellsworth is the beginning?
