Chain of Thorns is the third and final book in the Last Hours Trilogy...except I think that it isn't. There is a HUGE twist at the end that has to be explained further. If Cassandra Clare would like to pull a City of Fallen Angels on us, I would not be upset.

Hey, what's up, hello! My name is Katelyn Overby and I am a reader/writer/artist/Ravenclaw/person living in the part of the U.S. that is considered to be District 11 or 12, depending on which map of Panem you're looking at.

This book was literally a big disappointment. I was expecting so much from this finale but no. Cordelia was so annoying first 400+ pages and a love triangle was so pointless. It made no sense at all. Ans we had all of 3 scenes of James and Cordelia as a real couple ALONE. As for Christopher, it was so poorly delivered. I felt nothing whatsoever and I usually cry on scenes like that.

I can see what you mean - I feel like there has to be more of the story to really pull some of this back around, but I haven't seen any announcements yet 🥲I think I was just in denial waiting for Christopher to manage his way back somehow 😂

@@theegreatkatsby I just saw in one of the videos that she said she was gonna write a collection of short stories about one character from the Last hours. She said one she knows we would love to see more of. My delusional brain is hoping it will be James and it would automatically mean Cordelia will be in there too (because I understood she meant to write about that character and their life after LH. But I fear it will be about Matthew and his adventures for a year in which he's gonna be out of London and I'm sorry but I can't bring myself to care about him anymore. I liked him but because of all that love triangle stuff I got to hate him. And also she said "Never say never" when it comes to maybe some more stories about those characters from LH or maybe we'll some day get stories about their children.

@@ananojner6701 oooh I would love some short stories - I'm wondering if maybe it would be like Tales from Shadowhunter Academy where we would get to see a little bit of everyone - though I'd never so no to just a James/Cordelia book🤣

@@theegreatkatsby I mean, it would be fine if we will get to see a little bit of everyone as long as we're getting a scene where James and Cordelia put on their second marriage rune and a story about their honeymoon. I would be really grateful if we get those. 🥺
