If I guessed, it looks like you are cruising with a speed sprocket at about thirty mph on average👍yes, 36 tooth does also provide quite a noticeable fuel savings💫

Dude I just finished my first ride. I feel like I ate adrenaline for breakfast. This thing wont go any slower than 15. I went overboard on the octane and racing oil. Thank you so much for your channel. It has helped in so many ways. I weigh in at 240 not including the 12 pack.

I haven't done it yet but I'm sure the engine/head will run cooler with a diy air scoop forcing more air over it. They've been proven to work on old air cooled 2 stroke dirt bikes. If it's made right, I'm sure it'll help keep a chainsaw build cooler. One of these days I'll make one out of some scrap diamond plate aluminum. Use tape & cardboard to make the mock-up/template scoop, cut pieces & tack weld together with a torch & alumiweld rods or add tabs to design that bend & screw pieces together. Then use some tiny screws to attach into the cooling fins.

Thank you for the ride and feed back, I have learned alot from watching your videos. I have just finished building a ms 380 hybrid myself. Still working out a couple bugs and tune, while researching the spark gap I came across some info that stated you should run a minimum of mid-grade rated octane fuel to keep it running cooler. I'm not sure how big of difference it would make in a long distance run, but every little bit helps.

Thanks for the great info LA.I use mine as my transport too and want to go further sometimes and am going to build my 2nd soon.I want to be able to license it as a moped as I want 30mph and that's my states rules.I could use this current motor as it really wants to rev well past 20mph with the 56tooth sprocket,but I do the 'under 20mph pedal assist' rule. I've been looking for more torque for the smaller 44tooth and I think your's is better.

Great content, really like how you tell the truth on practicality, I ride every day as my only transportation and yes it's all about experimentation, I've been doing this for to many years to remember ... Like the handlebars I have a bike like yours and hate the stock ones where did you get them?

Great video, not for the actual video and footage tbh but for what all was said. Honestly I almost felt like I wrote it and you said it. I agree with pretty much everything said can't really think of anything I didn't. The basic builds for a daily are great and what's best IMO but this is a hobby and a lot of the fun of it. I think building these things is all the fun most the time, so I think there's a place for all of these hybrids and what have you. Either way very well said and I'm interested in seeing how this one holds up cause I plan on building one of these and would like to use it on a daily eventually. Thanks for posting.

Sounds amazing but I agree with you when you say exhaust noise. I have a Honda Shadow 750 with Cobra race pipes and it’s obnoxiously loud and will leave you with a headache afterwards 😂. I wish I could daily my 4 stroke build but it’s too dangerous to ride on my side of town. Even on my motorcycles it’s still dangerous 😂

I enjoyed this one very much and love your vids. Think you should pull a trailer with it and use the back pack for fixit stuff. the trailer holds extra gas and a few tires and tubs with all camping gear. lol call it the bug out bike. It might cure the sprocket config with an extra 80 pounds it pulls. Just A thought out loud. run it a little rich just for tug. in a 1944 spitfire plain you had to turn a nob to make the engine rich to get off the ground. then lean it out.
@LAHover

Thanks for the suggestion, I may give that a shot. I'm actually doing a gas bike camping trip this week. I got the trailer all loaded up and ready to go. If all goes well, I may try it with this bike too.

Soon building a felt faker frame can’t wait to strap on a powerful motor and send it 🤘 also I agree a performance motor tend to shake and vibrate a lot at the low RPMs and likes to cruise at a higher speed

@@LAHover yes my man I will most likely save up and buy a felt frame with the Ridgid triple tree forks and I good set of wheels. I was looking at the ones bikeberry had 12 gauge spoke ones with disk brake mounts also. Then all the other little parts will be pretty normal but the motor I’m kinda stuck on. I want to get the bike built first but then try and get a ms460 cylinder setup and I know I probably won’t ever use it to its full potential but to be honest I’m sure you can relate it’s way over powered. The frame I’ve always wanted not because of it being any more fun than a cheap build but because I simply love the look of a gas bike frame.

You could attempt a few day road trip on this.. A cruise.. 25mph all day long with a 2 gallon Jerry can with premix strapped to your luggage rack behind the seat. Bring air pump, backpacking tent, mini essential tool pack, grease tube for the chain, and lube/adjust necessary tensions every few hours

So a little off topic but how do you think a 80cc engine would work to get me to school and back? I am tired of taking the bus but walking is a hour and a half. My travel is only 4.7 miles with gas stations along the way but i will have a tiny Jerry can with me. Do you think it would work?
