Just a small thing I noticed when re-reading part 2 last night. In chapter 122, Yoshida speaks with Fami about the future devil contracts that were made. In this exchange, Yoshida says that 23 convicts would die in July, and that a great king of terror would descend” Fittingly enough, the next chapter releases on July 23d. Curious if “a great king of terror” is just a primal fear OR if we are about to see death rather suddenly?

my headcannon is that pochita ate a part of war that made her forget how terrifying the Chainsaw Devil is, and then she remembers and is like "oh...oh yeah I was killed by this when I was stronger, and now I am even weaker"

idk what quanxi is gonna do considering pochita literally instakilled her the last time they met, yoshida cant even fight yoru so idk what hes gonna do either. the only one who could possibly do anything would be asa because denji(and by extension pochita) now knows they have mutual feelings, yoru probably cant/wont do anything buy asa could get through to him (if she doesnt fall over or something, that would be really funny if she did tho lol)

They dare think Chainsaw Man is weak, but even when he was no longer feared he killed all the weopon devils in secs. My theory is he can use the power of the devils eaten. He killed Control devil centuries ago, but didnt eat because of "bad taste". Thats why countries have been preparing against her for centuries. And pochita has been fighting death devils for 5000+ years or smth. He got injured and used the power of one of the other type of *"ends"* other than death and transported to human world as dog. I think the craziest thing to is this version of Full Chainsaw is by far the strongest we have seen him yet. Not only does he have the fear of devils but now majority of humans on the planet since Fami’s plot. I can’t even imagine the amount of destruction we are about to see.

Sufferents, you make a good point on the significance of seeing the CSM community’s reaction to the return of full-armour chainsaw man. I remember binging part 1 in 2021 and finishing a few days before the trailer for the anime came out, and seeing pochita’s chainsaw man let loose was so cool. I wouldn’t be surprised if fujimoto decides to off-screen the PS group and we see him fight Yoru and Asa. Also, on the subject of Yoru, I at first thought she was excited to fight chainsaw man again, but some fans mentioned her facial expression did not show excitement, but fear or at least hesistance, which does make more sense.

Makima had to do some bullshit to save them from hell, she didnt exactly win the 1v1 if i remember right. So if darkness came back, just to be outright obliterated. 4:24 when viewing the chapter i realized thay when Denji leaps into Barem, Barem stabs him in the gut and that's when denji starts transforming. So, sadly Barem got the chance to fight back

People keep saying the last page Teleportation. But Pochita had already started cutting up buildings behind the first agent to speak when he said "Target Sighted" the next panel behind him shows the building behind him already being torn to shreds. He seemed to already be behind them when said Division 1 and 2 are in place, as well as team 5. My guess is the other 2 teams already got done in, he is showing up for the 3rd team as they walk forward.

I wonder now if Nayuta herself staged her death for Denji. The last time we see her, in Chapter 155, she says the same thing Makima did: "I will fill him with happiness...then destroy it" for Makima, that was killing Aki and Power. But for Nayuta...thats herself.

I see a lot of people saying that yoru's reaction is her realizing shes out matched but i think people dont realize that shes fought him before when makima mentions how she lost track of chainsaw man the first time, it seems more like shes finally locked eyes with the ine thing shes been searching for since the start, like the kind of anticipation you get when your right near the end of an extremely hard boss fight and your in uncharted territory not knowing what you're gonna see next. Idk, but im excited nonetheless

It’s been so good going back and seeing Barem get the treatment he deserved. He actively did all in his power to ensure Denji’s life was as miserable as possible just for the sake of bringing back the real Pochita. It was cathartic to see him reap what he sowed. Things are truly getting serious if Yoru of all beings was afraid at what she was witnessing. Also, notice how Fami and Katana Man isn’t present. Must have been something to that. It’s gonna be interesting to see the events unfold now that Public Safety is to battle Pochita.

People have theorized that the final 2-page spread isn't Pochita blitzing Special Division 5, but the fake Chainsaw Man now donning the black armor form. He's always appeared to help Denji and Asa in one shape or form, so Public Safety might not just have one Black Chainsaw man to deal with.

I think Denji killing Barem signified the last thing Denji had to live for leaving. Black Armor Chainsaw Man isn’t a rage form for Denji, it’s more of a depression form. It comes out when Denji’s contract with Pochita to “show him his dreams” is broken. Denji’s dream, his reason to live, was to raise Nayuta. Seeing her dead meant the only thing he had left was his rage for the person who did it, Barem. The problem is Barem is too weak, killing him wasn’t a long term goal. The moment Barem died Denji had his revenge, and then he had nothing.

Another clue that hints towards Fami setting this up is the fact that Denji was hungry, and just so happened to choose Sushi to eat. This could very well be Fami using her power to steer Denji into the correct direction to be set up

I've noticed that chainsaw man part 2 has been following a similar path or probably took major inspiration from Devilman/Devilman Crybaby. Where the main protagonist's most important person was attacked/killed by an angry mob, in devilman it was Miki and CSM it's Nayuta. The main protagonists then later discovers the corpse of that important person and inevitably crashes out, killing everyone around. In Devilman crybaby, the ensuing battle to save the world ends up destroying it, so CSM could potentially be heading towards a similar direction.

We didn't see nayuta's severed head jumped into the air when denji transformed into chainsaw devil but all the plates and sushi was. i believe Fami take that head and run away .You can say that's copium but i still not believe nayuta is dead. Also its not a good strategy to kill control devil. i think fami ,barem ,nayuta and public safety tricked denji, asa and yoru for their big plan.

One of the commentator's on the site where I read manga gave a really interesting thoughts about true nature of a Chainsaw Devil that still do not get out of my mind. He said "The intestines are just like an umbilical cord, wrapped around Denji's neck! Is this again a reference to the fact that chainsaws were originally created for childbirth?" One thing that I always wondered is why Chainsaw devil do not feel any fear ? I mean, if primal devils are so powerful because of fears that every living thing have towards devils' concepts then how Pochita become so powerful? Does he have no fear of them? If that is a thing then we have interesting theory here; Q: Is it possible that a devil that do not feel a fear emerged, started to go rampage without any limits, became very powerful by ignoring the most important part of power system that binds even the most ancient devils and that made him so horrifying that he ultimately became a nightmare for every living devil in a hell ? If that's the case then here is the question, why he does not feel a fear ? A: What if, chainsaw, a thing that was originally created for making a process of childbirth easier is actually represents a concept of a new life ? Newborn child to be precise. Newborn child does not feel a fear because it has no idea what is that. Pretty OP power in a system of CSM worldbuilding, don't you think ? If that's the case, it kinda explains how mere concept of chainsaw become so powerful that every devil in hell fears him like he is Doom Guy. That explains why every time true Chainsaw Devil emerges it is covered in intestines. It explains why in its full form Pochita either have no signs of proper intellect or either behaves itself like a child, because that's god damn child with the power of newborn life concept. Saying that public safety should have sent Quanxi and Yoshida against the hero of hell is a joke, the last time Pochita fought other hybrids he sliced them to peaces in an instant, every single one of them all at once. In Yoru case i think more that she OVERESTIMATED herself. By what we can piece together she went blow to blow with full armor Pochita back in Hell. Now she just a mid teir fiend

I'm guessing that Fami's endgame is that once Death is gone at the hands of pochita, nothing can die in order to feed that which is currently alive. Eternal famine ongoing, and thus, absolute victory for her. BUT, she will also soon realize - or someone else will point out to her - that she won't be able to scarf down any food anymore, since the Death of a thing is necessary for it to feed something else, and that she didn't really think this whole thing through. She would get an empty victory, devoid of all joy or satisfaction for herself. So she will cancel the whole damn thing at the last second. That would be my prediction.

Fami legit has most of the cards on the table, new special division may not do anything remotely useful to power up Pochita, so she's for sure pulling out more primal fears. And again, she still hasn't powered up Yoru yet enough to be as powerful as she can be before Death arrives. maybe im too high for this but imagine if pochita is death and he's diguising himself as a chainsaw cause he can supposedly change to whatever form he wants because of being able to delete certain concepts. It would make sense that death has the power to delete stuff, its death so it makes sense, and disguising as something deadly makes sense too, and the prophecy is denji transforming and killing everybody?

Quanxi wouldn't be able to do anything. At the end of part 1 a weakened Denji soloed all the living weapons. With a world wide fear of chainsaw man and fill manifestation out, there's likely anything anyone could do. It's very important to remember that in part 1 when this happened Makima formed a public image of Chainsaw Man that made people fear him less, making him weaker. Right now due to the worldwide fear spiking; he's the strongest version of himself that we've ever seen.

If that world of demons can’t let this man Denji have a family and a moment of peace and happiness, then that world is not worth saving.

I believe Fami wants to let Pochita loose in the world for them to Fear CSM even more, as well as all other Devils. This would further prepare everyone for fighting Death. I think timing is key, Pochita can create just enough damage to elevate Devils as much as possible without causing mass extinction of humanity (which would by default reduce lower tier Devils power). Here Fami needs to play her cards right.

Unlike Makima they're going get more fcked, we already saw a first glance when my guy got killed by Denji before transforming . Only Fami knows how terrifying chain saw man and Denji really are .
