Pt Mukulji is quite simply the best classical singer today and is very much comparable even to the greats of old times. Technically brilliant, absolute genius and complete command over sur. He is probably the only one today who sings aalap for over 30 min and still can keep the audience spellbound..

The sweetest Bageshri I ever heard and almost everybody has sung this raga but nobody is this sweet (Did Kumarji sing one??). As such he is a recluse and I hope Mukulji has stabilized, doing well presently and will continue to sing such gems in greater numbers to music lovers. Wish him a long and productive professional life! Many thanks for this upload.

You have brought out the sweetness and flavor of raag bageshree. It is one of my favorite raags and very few artists these days can sing it well with the devotion, and bhav like old timers like your father, pundit bhimsen joshi and pundit jasraj. You are an exception. Hats off to you sir.
