I would say it is the last one or she would not give approval for her music to be sampled or she did and was doing to tax him. His son "Missing You" as a tribute to Biggy was sampled without permission from Sting's smash hit "Every Breath You Take". According to Sting, if he wanted to he could have been more brutal to him as far as money goes for breaking copyright laws. Instead Diddy has to pay Sting for the rest of his natural life. How much it is was never disclosed but it is no where nears what it could have been had he taken him to court. Diddy knew it was illegal but still did the bs anyways.
