Hello guys. In this video, I have covered all the information related to Chakarta Uttarakhand. I started my journey from Delhi to reach Chakrata and covered all the information related to Chakrata in this video like must-visit places in Chakarta, where to stay in Chakarta, how to reach chakarta from Dehradun or Delhi. About Chakarta: Chakrata known for its serene environs and pollution-free atmosphere, is situated at a distance of 98 kms from Dehradun at an elevation of about 7000 ft(2118 mts). It is having a cantonement township and the northern part of Chakrata sub-division provides a fascinating landscape for trekkers and nature lovers. Dotted with numerous waterfalls, trekking trails, and camping sites, Chakrata is a perfect destination for those looking for a peaceful staycation.

How to reach Chakarta:
There is no direct bus available from Delhi to Chakrata. you have to take bus to Dehradun, which will be approximately 6-7 hours journey, it will be good if you do it over night. After reaching to Dehrdaun there are two option to reach Chakrata by private taxi and by local city bus both are easily available but bus city bus run on specific time interval only. If you chose to go by taxi then you will reach Chakrata in around 3 hours. and if you are going by bus then Bus will take you till Vikas Nagar and then from Vikas Nagar you have to take shared taxi to reach Chakrata in total it will be 4-5 hours of Journey.

Interesting video, me too planning for long time to visit Chakrata..
