Original is rustic and beautiful. Telugu version is soft and classy. Both are good in their own way. Only drawback with the Telugu version is that it was sung by non-Telugu people who didn't elevate the feel in the lyrics.

Full of life, this song. Nag ashwin asked radhan to compose a song similar to " Thendral vandhu theendum podhu " for this situation. Radhan composed some tunes but for some reasons nag not statisfied with those. finally he went to Raja sir to ask the remake rights of Thendru vandhu theendun podhu but Raja sir told how about myself update the same song to suit to this time period and thats what we listen now
