That challenger is beautiful. The stripe delete is better to be honest. As you said, much more clean. Love that it's a manual, hopefully soon if I get my Scat Pack I'll get manual transmission. Much more fun. Looking forward to hearing that exhaust!

Got the borla Atak on my SXT, swear the HP went up and it pops and screams now in sport mode, has a low rumble in regular mode. Highly recommend this exhaust system, totally worth the 1500.

Looks and sounds great! I'm a bit poor on the $$s so I went straight pipe on mine. Couldn't be happier. Neighbors not so much at 5:30 in the morning lol. I'm their alarm clock. Lol. Good video.

Just got the 2020 Challenger R T and I've seen the light of the exhaust I'm getting. Was on the fence about the Corsa Extreme but the ATAK is the one I'm going with. Great video.

Sounds great! I wanna do what you’re doing. I live in upstate NY (wellsville) so if buying one of these I’m gonna need a winter beater a Ford Ranger or something like that and then drive this from May on through till the snow flies again. Thanks for posting the vid. Pretty pricey exhaust but Borla is known for their quality.

Just picked up the newest car ill probably ever own. I traded in my 06 R/T Charger for a 16 Challenger R/T. I cant wait to change the exhaust. I installed Borla S type on the Charger couldn't get Atak for that year. I was VERY disappointed. However You just sold me back on Atak. Nice 🤙 sounds Awesome. Its new years day 2023. I didnt look to see when this was made Lol. Happy new year. Be safe God Bless. Oh the car only has 18,000 miles on it.

can the middle ones be considered purely noise mufflers so the back ones are the ones that define the tone? or it doesn't work that way and Borla's system differ from the stock system? asking because I have the ATAK yet still waiting it to be louder hence thought about straight piping one of them out.

I like the sound. No need for mid muffler or resonator delete? I got mine deleted but I feel like I lost acceleration. There's a slight delay when I step on it. I want to put them back on and just get a borla atak like yours. It sounds very nice.

Is your car a 5.7 ? How much did Midas charge for the install ? What tires and wheels are you running ? It's over a year now since your video, do you still have the car, and if so are you happy with investing in the exhaust ? Help settle a debate, are the resonators in the middle or out at the rear ? Thanks !

Don't forget for those who asked about drone, he has a manual. Automatics with the mds cause most of those issues. With autos, I suggest using some type of resonator for that cab noise, flowmaster makes them for 120 a piece. Or go after market pcm and tuner and do a mds delete.

@@7aflores7 you don't have to change them just turn off MDS in the tune. Or you can drive in auto stick witch turns it off

Cabin, not cab. Remember that the ECM records any modification made, even if erased. Without a Factory Field Modification sticker with dealer and authorization number, you may face a restricted or voided warranty. The MDS catches as much flack as the old Lean Burn systems did, but just like ELB/ESC/EFC, the MDS system does provide some very good fuel economy in the V8's.

I recommend that 360 degree blog shot smart camera...it responds to motion and people trying to break into your ride record 10 seconds with pictures 😊 I got 2 on mine front and back

Unless you plan to move to Michigan, you'll be fine with a bit of sense. They're great cars, been driving them since 2008 from Florida to Michigan. Drive like it's winter and no issues. Also, if you're an auto guy, the A8 is geared incredibly well for the V8. It's faster than any manual guy can shift and has a clutchless manual mode for when you want more control. Personally, I have an RT with MDS and the A8 right now. I spend most of my time in Sport mode and manual driving around town, then auto on the highway. Long hauls you can hit 30 MPG if you're on flat ground or you milk it, 25-28 average easy. 12mpg in town with manual and Sport mode though ;) lmao

Borla over corsa all day, but another option for the scat is mid muffler delete with dyno max mini race bullits. I just picked up a scat that has it, and I must say I’m very impressed. It’s incredibly cheap to do also.

Hey, sounds and looks awesome. I have a 2019 challenger 392 scat pack. I’m looking at doing the Borla ATAK cat back system but they say to use the factory tips. Where did you get those aftermarket Borla tips. It doesn’t seem that Borla even makes any. I wanted to have a customized book to go along with the customize sound. Also, have you ever heard the Corsa extreme cat back on a challenger? Thanks

David Baker, unfortunately they don’t have borla tips for the 392. They are only for the 5.7 for some unknown reason

Just watched this video. Borla kits advertise that they use the stock tips. You have dual split tips post install. What are they (make/model) and where did you get them? They look much better than the stock tips. Thanks!

Hi again - I actually have the correct info now. The 5.7 comes with those tips. The 6.4 does not. So - I cant get those tips (I'm jealous) but I am super impressed by the sound. Your car sounds amazing. I'm definitely going to take the plunge...

Rts get lots of dirt build up on the back bumper/ side panels just from everyday driving. Splash guards help a lot

He has a r/t 2015 or above challenger. If I was you I would go for a r/t they have good power they r pricey but all challengers r pricey it's definitely worth the money
