Achill Island, a truly remarkable place, as popular as it is there is a lies a hidden beach called Annagh Strand. Tucked into a little corner of Achill this beach is gorgeous and gives a wonderful sense of calm to those that venture there.
This was my first proper adventure since the injury and it was great to get back at it again. I thought Annagh Strand would be a great place to dust off the hiking legs and I was so happy I did.
I wanted to try something a little different with this video so I have the hike/wild camp than I've done a breakdown. If you like the way I've done this please let me know?

Mike, an absolutely beautiful place to wild camp. Those shots of the beach and the lough from above were fantastic. It is a steep wee descent/ascent using there short route. Super impressed by your turn of speed chasing that tent😊 It sounded like the midges and rain added to your experience to make it even more memorable😊 Thank you for bringing back memories of such special place👍👍

But imagine this hike and camp in constant drizzle or heavy rain for days which is often the case on Achill .also that ground would be very boggy to hike over..i should know as I've been going there for years weather very much hit and miss even in summer

Hi there, I admire your video skills, could I ask what camera and lens are you using? I got Fuji camera older model but its not so good for videos so just wondering what to get for trips like that.

Thank you so much for those kind words. I use a lumix GH5s with a 8-16mm lens and a 35-100mm lens.
