As I always been saying, chamber is indeed still the strongest agent for maintaining active map control, get a peek and deny the trade. It just requires team work to do so. Sure It doesn't work in every map like it did before but in his maps damn it is so scary.

I have a feeling Chamber would get shut down easily if a team had any reason to play Kayo over Skye, but I guess Skye is too valuable as a solo initiator on Split. It'd be cool to see if this Skye-Harbor-Chamber combo works on any other maps

Whenever I watch agent util vids, they never actually talk about how it would benefit the team, but now I can see how much synergy is needed between teams and now I realize valorant isn’t just about gun fights

Chamber is still solid, he just now requires team play to fully shine rather than being able to solo hold anything and everything. He’s in the same bracket as harbor and neon as they all are decent at best, but in a practiced team, they’re amazing

Chamber is good with coordination and it's no surprise that in proplay he's really good, people underplay him because he can no longer carry the whole team on his back but instead is more of a sentinel rather a duelist as he relays on his team more now than before the 2nd wave of hard nerfs.

This is the same kind of situation as harbor where in order for him to really shine you need a full team of people who know how to utilize him, and he is only really good in the top 0.0001% and pro play

Nowadays I really try to make chamber useful again coz. Atleast for planting and holding site till support scenarios. He's still good getting away with a few tricks but it becomes tricky when u dont have teammates supporting you to open certain spaces or hold certain angles if they rush you. For example, in Lotus I get on top of the double box take a few kills and tp away. But unless someone properly opens the door for you. He's good for planting or holding backstab on A site as well.

Insane how this aged. Found this vid again because I’ve been playing chamber more recently, these off angles from clear will be integrated into my game. But yeah this piqued my interest, cause I was a DSG fan during this time and genuinely loved the team before and after yay. After this game, they never played chamber again, until one map of clear on chamber on lotus. Clear went like 11-21 and they didn’t use him again. I think subbing in Riku didn’t help, but I think I remember some illness or unfortunate events caused that. After they lost to M80 twice, made like 4 roster moves, changed IGL, it was cooked. They ran chamber on bind when they had yay once, he went positive but they lost. I think as much as steel may be abrasive, suck ass at aiming 7/10 times,(he’s better than me, just compared to other pros) and cause drama in his teams, I think he was the one who cooked this chamber comp, and I think he was the engine to their success. They had no coach, if my memory serves me, so he had to cook all this and call it in game. Say what you want, but he was working his ass off.

As a Toast fan.... I AM PROUD! As an Indian... idc that my team lost.

Seeing the Harbor aggressive plays is beautiful since it synergies so well with the other agents and utilized perfectly instead of comparing him to a viper that curves walls.

Great video. Honestly genuinely just an amazing video. I always found it weird how everyone stopped playing chamber. I get that they heavily nerfed him, but even just for the economy I feel like he can turn matches around. Granted He doesn’t bring much util to for the rest of the team to use so I can see why other characters would outshine him. Seeing how they use chamber was really cool. Pearl could also be a map they'd be able to make these insane plays

yeah but the thing is this is well execute planning for the agent. Randos in comp can never create this much teamwork for any agent let alone chamber.

That's what I'm saying. They all say "he's dead", "he's trash", yadda yadda without even learning his new set ups and different way to play him. But as a chamber main pre-nerf and post-nerf. He's still pretty good if you know what you're doing especially with the right synergy.
