Took a trip down to Wrap Capital and met Gary the owner of Tint Shop who has been in the game for at least 10 years now. It was great to see that he didn't rush anything and was so precise with how he wanted it.

it’s very similar to the solar reflective windscreens available which have a bronze/blue reflective tint, very difficult for plod to tell the difference on a high end car, a bit easier that it’s a mod on say a Skoda Fabia

these have been legal for years. i remember the mitsubishi pajero and shoguns came from factory with a tinted windscreen with a deep blue at the top of the screen like a sun strip. makes cars look incredible 👌🏻 how much does he charge to wrap an entire car? never really seen any price lists anywhere

Ive had tinted windows for the last 12 years no issues with the heating element. Only if you have to remove them, can then cause issues.

Windscreen must let through 75% light Front side windows must let through 70% light. And the back as dark you want

Not true mate. 3D and 4D plates will remain legal as long as they comply with the current code if made now or the new code in September. What you’ve been told is false news that spread on fake rumours, research it propetly

Certain Bentleys, Rolls Royce, Land Rovers, Porsches, Mercedes, BMW chameleon windshields comes directly from factory with the tint in between the glass. Not a custom job. Noticed that most of the newer model high end luxury vehicles do not have them anymore.

It’s illegal to tint a front screen period, it’s only the top strip 10% that can be tinted, even a stick on sun strip is illegal if it comes down to far into the drivers view, it has to let through 75% of light Think Gary needs to re read the legislation as it’s illegal to fit it as well 🤣🤣🤣
