Lionel Rose was the first Aboriginal man to win a boxing world title, and the first Aboriginal person to be named Australian of the Year.
In 1969, Rose appeared in the ABC documentary "110,000 Reasons."
The program followed Rose as he prepared to defend his world batamweight title against Rubén Olivares.
Rose went on to lose the title to Olivares, but continued to box until the mid 1970s.
"110,000 Reasons" aired in Australia on 21 August 1969.
