Re Argentina and Australia If the Boks/ABs go ahead with the tours then I’ll like to see the following 1: The Boks to take on Argentina in a 2 match series (or 1 match) before or after the tour, at thr same time the ABs can take on the Wallabies for the Bledisole which could allow for team gelling and whatnot 2 when the actual tour happens, let the wallabies and Argentina tour each other, seems fair (granted this is up to them) 3 on another 4 year cycle, switch it up so that the Boks/Wallabies tour each other and the ABs/Argentina (keep the Wallabies and Pumas alive and kicking, imagine what it could be like for Argentina’s clubs to have the All Blacks come and play them) 4 this will relegate the rugby championship to a once every 4 year thing (unless they squeeze it into a WC year) which in my opinion would cause the trophy to become that more valuable In short something like this 2026: Bok/AB Wall/Puma 2027 WC 2028: Bok/Wall AB/Puma 2029 RC Repeat This will limit the Bok Ab games to call it 5 games on a 4 year cycle (unless WC scheduling happens), allow Argentina and Australia to stay in the loop and actually lower thr amount of full on test matches (player wealfare) as there will be 5 tests not 6 in the traditional Southern Hemisphere time period (granted there will be the games against the clubs)

As a Leinster fan I think they have a choice to make - make the tough decisions necessary to become the top team in European rugby (4th time lucky!) or be content to be the team that is organised by the national team’s 3rd choice outhalf - not sure they can be both.

Can’t tell if I’m being curmudgeonly but every team announcing these tours devalues the international matches. Between WC, Lions, Autumn Internationals, independent tour series, the World League starting in 2026, Six Nations/Championship - just becomes hard to care (and hard to follow, so many streaming services). Already half the Leinster A side only gets trotted out in Green or in big European matches, Lowe has something like 80 URC minutes this year. But pays the bills so.

C'mon my Sharkies... Show us some bite against them Vlou Vulle. 😂 I am also very much on the fence about a dedicated Bok/AB tour thing. We need to do more with big sanctioned SANZAAR events. I really think the tours should be integrated into TRC. I really want to see Argentina growing and I have a perverse need for an Australian rivalry too. But on the other hand, Dave, those big historic tours gets the blood flowing too. I love the idea of some midweek games that will give the lesser known SA player the opportunity to face the Haka and play the notorious ABs.
