I think Barcelona's defense was really affected by Busquets. We are seeing it this season. We need a solid cdm. As much as i like de jong. i think we are losing a lot attackwise if we move de jong to cdm. I liked how xavi played christensen as a cdm. He didn't perform bad, but wasn't brilliant either (but it was against a weaker team)

Not really, Busquets my have been the best CDM pf the decade, but since a few years he’s slow and not the same player anymore. Don’t get me wrong he still brought a lot of stability and control in high pressure situations but he was not the same anymore, remember Barcelona suffered their greatest humiliations in Europe with Busquets as a starter. Also I would blame more the injury of Ter Stegen. Ter Stegen is one of the best keepers in the world and he covered many mediocre Barcelona defending for the last few years, that’s how good Ter stegen is, he is a keeper that could decide games with his saves, now without him theyre defenses is exposed

Here's my quick picks for Round of 16 winner based on his prediction orders in this video: Real Madrid. Manchester City. Bayern Munich. Paris Saint Germain. Inter Milan (If Atletico Madrid played so well under Simeone, they can advance, but they had just lost against Bilbao in Copa del Rey). Borussia Dortmind (PSV will only focus on winning Eredivisie unbeaten). Arsenal. Barcelona (I choose Barcelona to beat Napoli, but in a tight scoreline, given how bad both teams were domestically). I will soon upload the full predictions with scoreline when Vizak (another good KZfaq channel regarding football) has made his own video.

Why would PSV focus on going unbeaten? There's huge money on the line in the UCL, and going unbeaten is not a priority (I'm a PSV fan) We have a such a large lead and are so dominant with a good bench(for eredivisie level) so PSV will definitely give it all to advance against Dortmund 😅

After that awful defensive performance from barca and conceding 3 to 19th place Granada, my god we are trash. It just keeps getting worse with this defense. YAMAL is the best thing we have going at the moment. Hopefully this team wakes up or Xavi at least works on this defense cause we keep conceding goals and our defense just keeps making mistakes.

Copenhagen is lucky.Sociedad and Atletico got done so dirty . Imagine Sociedad being the first in its group . only Inter and PSG are the giants out of 8 who came up second and will trash Sociedad . Inter is in sociedad's group so only PSG is 1 of 7 possible oppenents for Sociedad and thé only one that Sociedad can't beat (Sociedad could beat Porto Lazio Liebzig Copenhagen Napoli PSV ) but against PSG they Don't stand a chance . For Atletico , 2 out of 8 possible opponents that Atletico Can't beat . PSG and Inter . They drew Inter . As for Copenhagen , i am pretty sure they would be wiped against each of its possible opponets . Only 1 out 8 teams would only beat Copenhagen but not wipe them out . And that's Real Sociedad.

Inter was the only team that competed against City last year. They got better this year. It doesn't matter if the other team is attacking or defending, Inter can adjust their style accordingly. Unless Atletico can keep it goalless somehow with their weak defense, I don't see any competition.
