Hi guys. I am from Nottingham but i am living and working in China. I love your channel and your honest opinions of this famous club. It's a shame where they are at the moment. I watched them back at the end of the 1960s and the first few years of the 1970s.. they were a very good side back then....my point is that things will come around again. Just stick with them and i hope they can get better leadership because in my opinion that's where the problems are.... anyway, thanks for your hard work and good luck for the last two games

Bizarrely I enjoyed the game, the first three goals were totally unnecessary but summed up the lack of strength and fight that our players have. We have a great attacking force, when our defenders run out with the ball they look good but as a team too many errors and the defence cannot defend against big strong powerful players. The system means we need ball players comfortable on the ball but really we need some no nonsense players at the back and we need to play all our football in the last third. Possession means nothing if you make basic errors

Stockport Fan here, top video! I was watching the stream and I think the first penalty was probably the right decision (maybe my bias there) but I cannot work out what the second pen was for at all! If you sort your defence out and you'll pushing the playoff places as a minimum next season I reckon. Best of luck!

Thanks, guys, for an honest depiction of last night. It's heartbreaking to watch the club at the moment with no direction, no clear leadership, and no consistency. 4 wins, 3 draws, and 10 defeats is the bottom three form all day long. Look, nobody wants to see a man lose his job, and I am sure he is a nice fella, but we need a management team that will be capable of taking us up the leagues, whilst making harsh decisions regarding dead wood. Look at what Evans has done with stevenage in two years or what the Cowley brothers are beginning to achieve with Colchester. We are all individuals with subjective opinions, but I will finish with a couple of observations. How did Maynard leave Bostock and Mcgoldrick on for 50 minutes last night? I respect that David is 3 years off 40, so his legs are going, but as soon as the changes happened, we were a different team. Robertson was class, and he really wanted to prove a point to Maynard, which he did, but at 4.0 down, it was too little too late. Whilst I can understand fans liking Bostock because of 2 years ago, he is not at the standard needed for County going forward. Finally, and before I get condemned for saying this, because I pray to God that I'm proven wrong, I 100% believe that Maynard will take us down quicker than a lead balloon, because if it wasn't for the two wins he got recently, our record under his leadership is nothing short of disgraceful. I am a relatively new football fan from America, the documentary series Welcome to Wrexham is what got me into football three years ago. I have been following Notts County since you were our rivals in the National League and I have to say after last years dominance by Notts County I am shocked by their performance in League two this year. What the heck happened? Defensively they seem awful, opposing players just seem to run through Notts Defense with impunity. Granted my knowledge of the game is limited but I try and learn more and more each year. I will say in three short years football has become my second favorite sport behind American football. I hope you guys rebound and have a fantastic season next year.

1st goal wasn’t unfortunate, Baldwin had a chance to clear but instead thought he was Cruff poor decision making from him yet again. I’ve been putting together a video of all goals of the season and the amount of goals coming from mistakes and poor decisions by baldwin is unbelievable when you watch them in one sitting

Stockport fan here. I was there last night and thought you have some very good technical players. I just believe they need to know when to find row Z. Its league 2, clear it if in danger. Have to say Notts fans were great before the game when i spoke to them. Had a good chat with a few. Sure you will come back stronger next year... Oh and at remember, you are not in the National league now. Just remember how hard that was!! 🙂

From a Stockport fan who has seen the ups and considerable downs - Notts have a great attack and scoring goals is generally more difficult to sort than getting a decent defence - fingers crossed for you for next season

same old story sums up the season since august - miss early chance then catastrophic defensive error again, penalty conceded again following chaotic defending baldwin does not get close enough for the third and deflection, right side goes missing for the fourth and fifth is a straightforward cross the tree unchallenged. need a complete clearout of the defence/gk but thats going to be difficult when you have players on two year deals who aint good enough for the elague, the recruitment since last summer has been a mess. Roll on summer as soon asap.

Well just like the Shrewsbury game, its the Baldwin show in defence- header against the bar- Baldwin "marking", the slip over (Baldwin), their 4th goal (Baldwin was marking him but fell for his dummy), the second peno (Baldwin short pass 6 yards from our goal when it needed clearing) and he was outmuscled for their final header too. Plus the deflected 3rd goal for them. If we dont have some new defenders who can defend next year will be a real struggle. I hope our talented players dont move away as we need them next season. It's proof that we need a League 1 ready squad next year. We don't have that and we would come back down with the present squad. It needs to be looked at, not put down to bad luck.

What is Maynard doing on the touchline, no energy, minimal instructions. Why not make a change at halftime, why wait until we concede the 4th, it was too late then.

Insane that (2 games to go), Notts have been involved in 173 goals this season, that's mind-blowing! (Average 3.9 goals a game)

If we’d had played the first half like we did after we went 4-0 down the game and the score line would have been totally different. We’re our own worst enemies. At 4-2 we were right in the game. Tactics were all wrong. We had nothing to lose and should have gone after them right from the off. We missed Macari and Jatta today. At 4-0 down Jodi was the only one that was playing. We were too soft today.

One slip in a season is unfortunate. Multiple of two seasons is a trend

Stockport is as solid as they get for L2. Going to have to do what Wrexham will have to do next season in L1. Get younger, sign 1-2 surprise players in the summer. Mansfield is in worse shape than both. Notts should fair better. Crap coming down from L1 and only 1 good side coming up. Whoever wins the playoffs in the VNL will be bottom Dwellers. Expect Notts to be top of the table next season.

Stockport fan here, for me you need better in midfield. Bostock is fine on the ball, but you seem to have no defensive cover from midfield.
