Ppl gravitate towards you when you’re a winner. Not because you’re nice. That nice stuff works when you’re young. When you’re older , ppl want to be around others who get results

@Clark Kent It's why I don't care as much for the current generation. Everybody is friends with each other no matter the team and players constantly up and leaving to play with each other. There's no rivalry, no real competition to push one another. Most of the stars are just playing to up their resume and brand.

The fact that he needed to explain himself today shows you how soft this era is. This was like, common knowledge when i grew up. Tough love. Me and brother got into fights but we loved each other. People just want their asses kissed, nowadays.

“I’m only doing this because it is who I am” says a lot about Michael Jordan and who he is
@onlyone23km6 ай бұрын
If anything, Michael may have seemed like a very rude man, but in reality he was very nice because he was tough and held everyone accountable including himself. He was nice by pushing everyone to their limits and beyond, including himself. Sometimes, generosity doesn’t always look like generosity. Sometimes, the generosity is well hidden in the end result of things. Sure, some of MJ’s actions went too far. But the nicest thing he’s done for his teammates was not just demanding better out of them, but giving ALL of himself to the teams he played for and against as well as the fans who watched him growing up, whether they loved him or hated him. And many of us know he’s still beloved to this day because he gave everything and then some and all he wanted his teammates to do was the exact same. He didn’t ask his teammates to copy and paste his game. He just asked them to match his work ethic, discipline and commitment. So by THAT logic… he was nice. Because people who are truly mean will sometimes let you slip, fall and fail with no guidance whatsoever and leave you behind in silence as you suffer alone.

The best I could do back from 2000 to 2003 was get a 3.79 GPA. I graduated college in three years instead of four and I really gave my own to get the best grades possible. Just like the most important game that I saw from him which was the flu game

I'm sure he worded it slightly different: "Bench players, do what you are best at!" That is something he did - he did what he was best at. As for some of those bench players, yeah, the best thing they could do was to keep sitting on that bench and let MJ win the game.
