i understand that student sections are supposed to cheer and be obnoxious but cursing at other players and telling them things like "eat a salad" is extremely inappropriate. props to both teams for playing through the comments (because im sure there was negative comments from both sides and you can only hear CP) this was an amazing game

1:17:34 bruh this crowd is getting to me.. like yes Olivia (#25) might of missed her hit but if u hear Champlin Parks crowd yells, “what are u doing!? This is why your sister is better then you!” Like u do not have the right to compare her to her sister. They are both great volleyball players and work together really well so u can’t be up in the volleyball gym comparing them! I don’t mean to sound rude about it but like just because you aren’t on the court playing or u are on different teams in a crowd doesn’t mean u can’t be a good sport. Like i would like to see the crowd from CP slam the vball down harder than Olivia 🤨I just had to spill my thoughts it was getting to obnoxious 🙄😒😤

They are in high school and just enthusiastic about the game. it’s part of the game. It was funny 😂 I’ve seen student sections say and do worse.

@@TheShellymichelle Both teams have serious athletes competing in good sportsmanship, it's an insult to both of them having crowd play dirty tactics like that, high school or not lol. It's not behavior that should be encouraged. It's a testament to Wayzata's resilience and dedication that they didn't let the weird yelping affect their gameplay but I'd imagine mentally they've already got a lot of their plate being in finals and the last thing any team needs is dirty tactics from the crowd to disrupt their concentration. It's if while you were taking a test people kept loudly yelping in your ear to throw off your concentration.

This is one of those matches where I support both teams which makes it hard for me to see either of them lose. Congrats, Wayzata! Get that State trophy! At 1:18:00 too and called her a heffer at 1:55:00. Unbelievable they would act like that :( towards the middle of the 4th set you could hear comments about her being out of breath. So upsetting. She is a beautiful young woman

The student section obviously didn’t come to watch a ball game, they’re so immature and rude. The things that they said to that poor girl should’ve got them ejected or at least warned. She’s an amazing ball player and she shouldn’t get hated on by random teenagers who probably don’t even know how volleyball works.

During regular season Champlin Park managed to beat Wayzata because its attack was all based upon Olivia Swanson and Jesewitz, so relatively easy to counter. Now with Kelzenberg and Vogt having theirday in the light lately, Wayzata's attack is now more balanced and way stronger. To the Ex' now Trojans !

Both teams play VB very well, though the team I was hoping would win, did not. Nevertheless a very good game. Every one of them is a winner. What I would do is take that frustration and become even better at what I do. Whatever that may be, have fun. You are all champs in my book.
