Further divide that into per minute, you have 27 vehicles, about 1 vehicle every 2 seconds, no traffic just a smooth flow. Assumptions, to just break even, you'd need 1,600 vehicles to travel the entire length of the road every hour, 15 hours a day, for 27 years. To make such a profit, you'd need about 3,200 vehicles to travel the entire length of the road, 15 hours a day, for 27 years. That would be insanely good. Rush hour isn't factored and bunching at the payment booths. If half of the vehicles were to pay cash, hopefully they take just 2 seconds so as not to clog up the checkout booths. If there are 3 checkout booths as seen, then there's a 6 second window to make payment and drive off without holding up traffic. That is possible, but still impossible and this project was unjustifiable. Until then, the guarantor, the Kenyan people, will repay.
