you are right :( hes scolded us indirectly on bubble once again and we should just apologize and appreciate what we do have, and focus on other things. i trust that chan and the company will/have been working things out, especially since it is something he loves doing as well.

I saw a comment saying BangChan also in fault because he said "too much", when he literally never directly said anything about anyone, and even indirectly he didn't say much. In all honesty its the sensitive fans, that dragged him into the hole. And, I'm sure, someone from the company watched his live's, and if something was said out of hand, they would stop him earlier, but that's only my thoughts.

Exactly! It's our own fault for not protecting him in the right ways and not respecting his wishes when he asked everyone to behave. Chan's Room was HIS safe place, first and foremost...where he could express himself openly and let a little bit of his guard down. It was therapeutic for him just as it was for us, but unfortunately that special space was ruined by anti's and immature, selfish "fans" who don't know how to show some actual respect for the their idols by keeping their damn mouths shut! As a fanbase, we broke Chan's trust and it kills me. The reality is, even if there was no official ban on Chan's Room, there's just no way for things to go back to how they were before.

This was well written and you are right that people forget that this is a job (at which he is so awesome at) and Chan still has responsibilities to his company and his members. He's made some very mature decisions and choices (that most grown-ups still refuse to make) which I can respect and I hope others will also. If a "Chan's room" version returns, I will rejoice, if not, well that's why we have YT channels, we can look them up.

This was very well written! I would also like to add that some toxic STAY would come in and bully Chan and tell him to unalive himself or call him ugly and just shit like that. So it was a lot that played into Chan’s room being shut down and it fucking sucks. Chan’s room was one of if not the only thing Chan had to really allow himself to be himself and allow the members to just be goofy and some STAY just had to ruin it. It's so sad and I hope Channie is ok.

This is the most ignorant thing ive seen yet. Chansroom probably got shut down bc last time a certain fandom accused him of p3dophilia , made fun of a song taking abt suicid3, made fun of him getting emotional during a concert and overall tore him apart bc some stays implied he was talking abt their faves while he respectfully talked about his experience with respect from his juniors. Stays spent 4 days doing nothing but defending chan. We werent even harassing that group but they claimed we were, made setup accounts and accused chan of sending his fans on a war to harrass them. It only stopped bc chan apologized FOR SOMETHING OTHER IDOLS HAVE ALSO TALKED ABOUT WITHOUT BACKLASH. He shouldnt have had to but it did stop it. JYPE shouldve protected him and sued these people but they just ignored it until chan apologized. lets not lick this companys boot bc even with itzy and twice, JYPE has done nothing EVER to protect their artists against harassment. Thats the issue here. They'd rather let it play out bc they know they'll get money anyways. They'd rather shut chansroom down, restrict his freedom of speech so they dont have to deal with the potential backlash than take action. This is not jyps fault. once JYPE made him close it. They didn’t make him close it for no reason but because of the parasocial relationship, scandals, and hate. They did it to protect bangchan and stays relationship aswell as keep bangchans name respected in the industry.

(not solely that as there have been similar incedents before, but it was rly the last straw.) hes told us on bubble to focus on their music and to leave it be. i trust that we should just chill, apologize for causing this, and enjoy what we're given instead of demanding more

Short version: Thought he is free to say whatever he still has a big influence but he doesn’t know how to measure his words, says that he is always watching when stays misbehave yet act as if stays are a bunch of friends he can gossip with which resulted not once but three times, in incidents causing a huge amount of hatred towards Woojin and the second and third time towards IVE. Extended version: The first time after woojin left he went live to complain about trust, broken promises, blah blah = Woojin basically crucified by stays. The second time, he talked about lack of respect at an event and stays jumped on ive when they weren’t even there. Finally the third time, after a new event and knowing ive got hate bc of what he said the last time; “stays I am always watching”, he talked about it again mixing the two events but ive was here this time and stays did it again. Chan apologized afterwards since knetizens, aka the one who can say who is disrespectful and not international fans, stepped in for IVE. Not bowing 90°, not having time to bow back bc that someone was running, not having 40 pairs of eyes and manipulated clips ≠ disrespectful. Stays instead of shutting it decided to go even bigger after making trnedy TikTok and Twitter post and flood IVE’s insta comments calling them names and asking for them and dive to apologize to Chan when since the beginning ive didn’t do anything at all and dive were just defending them. He and stays had a privilege given by the company. Chans room. It was something nice to watch and him talking about futility was fine. However he has a big, sensitive and reactive fandom. Chan went overboard and stays showed they can’t be mature and handle serious talk. Like you confiscate TV privilege from a child, the company confiscated the live privilege and had every right to do so. The man is in his mid twenties, has been around for a long time and still cannot avoid making issues affecting others. Even now when Chan addressed this he could’ve chose a different approach. “due to busy schedules the lives will stop for a moment” or he could’ve just took responsibility for it and said he took to much liberties with his lives and need a break to think but no. He blamed JYPe. And once again stays, by blaming everyone and the company but themselves, proved that they are the problem.
