I can't believe they did stuff like actually walk on the coral reef. (It kills it) and the chef pulled coral from the ocean along with a slug for a center piece. You are not supposed to touch the coral Even if your fin scrapes it then that pieces dies. We are losing our reef at an unbelievable speed around the globe. Some respect for our coral reefs please.

He knew better than to place her near the slippery walkway. He clearly knew it was slick. He should have warned her and placed her in the sand away from it, just like Ashton did. Chandler was a lazy air head.

I don't think so. Lol Ben criticized her and everyone agrees he's got his A game going on. Kate does need to stop with the unprofessional demeanor i.e. sassiness and quips. That's just not the right approach at work especially in a leadership role. Another time and another place for all that.

yes but she is abrasive when she asks her question. Chandler wasn't helping the situation in any way either and is way more to blame. I couldn't work with him, I think I could with Rylee though. I've had people like her under me and we worked well together.

I hear what you're saying, but I think Kate was saying that, had Chandler handled the crew's return to the boat better, there would have been another stew on board to get the drinks, which means it wouldn't have been on Caroline, and the glass would never have been dropped in the first place. But yeah, neither one did a great job this episode.

Lisa Melroy true but this isn’t Caroline’s first time as a stew; she’s worked charters where she’s been the only stew on board. Caroline should be able to pour champagne and hold a tray without dropping it and getting flustered. For me, it goes back to Caroline’s inability to do her job.

Chandler should have told the guest that the cement was slippery instead of watching her get on it. Kate said they had been there earlier and she told Chandler it was slippery.

Well keep in mind that it’s also a “reality” tv show and so they’ll dramatizing things and stuff because that’s what get more views. Even the shows that claim to be “authentic”will still do things like editing footage so certain moments are made slightly more dramatic on both the guest and employee side. The producers manipulating situations and the reality tv stars like by instigating conflicts between them when the cameras are off. I wouldn’t be surprised if they instigate shit with the below deck crew ESPECIALLY when they’re drunk. And no doubt the show pays for all their drinks and stuff when they’re able to party so that they go hard so maybe they can get a fight or hooking up. And when they’re drunk just casually be all like “it’s so disrespectful & messed up how X is treating u, acting like they’re better than u”. It also should be noted that the producers decides who is eligible to come onboard, expect for stuff like the captain and engineer. Captain Lee has accused the network in the past of selecting people who are inept when it comes to this type of work, thus shading the realism of who’s really qualified when watching the series. If everyone they hired were professionals and good at their jobs then there would be less problems and so less drama.

I'm a Kiwi. New Zealand has a special connection with South Africa by way of a shared love of rugby. Pienaar is well known Afrikaner and rugby surname. Not sure what Afrikaner means but it's the name by which the Dutchmen/Afrikaner call themselves. We Kiwis respect the Afrikaner for their rugby skills and absolute 'disregard for self preservation and safety' in how they play the game. Ashton's representing South Africa and the Afrikan community very well. Smart, laid back, intelligent and very socially aware. A bit of a cunning schemer though in the romance department, lol....

Of Course being Canadian its hockey, baseball, and football. Although when I was a kid girls didn't play hockey, we played broomball. It was a girls game where we ran on the ice in our winter boots. ( not that easy to do ) With what looked like, one of the old type of straw booms, with the straw cut off and we covered them with one of our dads old big wool socks. After that it was a bit like hockey rules but we used a ball that was smaller than a basketball. It was actually a lot of fun. I have seen a few documentaries on New Zealand, what a absolelutely beautiful place. One odd thing I heard, was you have a bird that likes eating windshield wipers off of cars is that true?. And I do have to say that the haka dance is super sexy, to us Canadian Women. Well at least this one. ............... He said the Canucks have much in common with Kiwis. Humble, courteous but tough as hell. He reckons Canada's winters make New Zealand's look like summer. About the bird; it's called the Kakapo, which is a Maori name. The Maori are the indigenous people of New Zealand. It's a type of parrot. Very clever, cheeky and yeah it's quite the distructive bird. It's equally loved and hated by Kiwis (those who's cars get damaged by it), in general. The haka is a Maori war dance, traditionally meant to psyche up the warriors before battle. I reckon Maori share a lot in common with indigenous Canadians (and Americans, for that matter). The nation's sports teams e.g. All Blacks (rugby), Tall Blacks (basketball) do the haka before each game. Sometimes they do a really good haka then get walloped in the game. You have a good one.
