I actually cried when Mithun Daa died and when Akshay was crying over his death..Even in the climax where he remembers his words were really touching.. I still think it's a good movie than many action movies 😅

I remember watching this as a young teen and thinking - wow, it looks like we’re heading to a moment where all Asians can and will become a cultural and economic superpower. There was racism in this movie yeah, but also an innate respect of each other’s cultures. Cut to now. Saala kitna optimistic and naive tha main.

As someone who's learning Chinese, there's no such word in Chinese as "chuchi" atleast i don't know... there's a word "chūci (pronounced as chu-see)" means "first time"

this movie has way too many memories connected to it, i was around 4 or 5 when i first saw it and i was completely in love with it. tbh yes now it seems a bit um dumb and overdone but back then i loved it and no matter what I'll still cherish it 💞 till this day im trying to find a platform to watch it but sadly failed to find it.

Regardless of what anyone says this was a great movie at least as much as i remember from my childhood. You can nit pick a thousand things in a movie be it bollywood or hollywood. But this movie sits as perfectly fine in my memory and i want it to remain that way, makes me remember the good old days.

It is nostalgic for some reasons like the moments like when mithun sir died and Akshay cries and also when he misses his word during the last fight also I remember that scene when Deepika's father used keep on eye on Akshay is he properly doing practice or not or just doing random chamdi giri ,because I partially remember that scene where Akshay was talking to Deepika and she said something to him about the tree and he just showoff that he climb the trees easily then Deepika's father told him to climb to top brach and made him climb and made to jump off also.

I know this movie was made for a joke but it had heaps of good messages. Like when Akshay beats him with his old moves is the representation of that quote from bruce lee "i am not afraid of the 100 moves you have practiced once but i am afraid of that one move, yoh have practiced 100 times" Also the song chak len de says tu jo chahe le agar, kadmo me tere ho sikhar. Tu khud par , yakin kar. Teaches you about believing in yourself than believing in god or luck. We wont mind if a Chinese or a Hollywood movie comes out with same story but because its a Bollywood movie, its shit. That movie 2012 where a normal guy who couldnt save his relationship is dodging all the collapsing buildings and melting lava bombs and everything else to save his family and we believed it. Karate kid whicb had the exact same story line might be a fav of many others here but this movie is shit because the made by Bollywood. उम्र भर ग़ालिब यही भूल करता रहा. धूल चेहरे पे थी और आईना साफ़ करता रहा A lotus grows in a mud but its your choice if you want to focus on mud or the lotus.

I can still remember the 1st time I watched this movie when I was maybe in 2nd standard It was through a CD. Our whole family watched it together. The best part was siddhu's training. This movie is among my best memories of childhood.

this movie flopped but this movie is awesome and had some different vibe.. also the villian of this movie is gordon liu great actor who is in kill bill and 36th chamber of shaolin trilogy to name a few of his legendary movie.

It's one of my favourite Akshay movie.... I still remember dialogues like "tumhari kismat inn hatho ki lakeero me nahi iss muthii me ha" ... "Hai koi aasi move yo tumhare siwa aur koi nahi kar sakta" ... "Tato hojo😂"
