UK keep funding some NGOs and social organizations in India, so they keep being faithful towards UK. It is part of a foreign policy to keep sending money to such non governmental organization, so they continue their loyalty towards UK. As a banker, let me give some of the recent news. Foreign donations came into India through NGOs/Trusts. They had to open a FCRA account at any bank to recieve foreign donations. These Brits use this channel to get their money into India. After the money comes in, we dont know how or where its used. A lot do go into illegal activities. However recently , sometime in 2021 or 2022, the Indian Govt. has banned FCRA accounts in all banks, with exception to the SBI , Delhi Branch. Now if u wanna open a FCRA account, it can be opened only at SBI, Delhi branch. This means the Govt. is now monitoring the money coming in.

The 'aid' that UK 'provides' is not aid to India its funding for all the NGOs UK promotes in India to support their objectives. Happy for UK to keep that money there and bugger off all these NGOs
