Thanks for the detailed review, babe. I've thought about these ballerinas for years but could never seem to feel okay to cough up the $$$. I normally don't have high expectations from shoes in terms of comfort, regardless if they are luxury or high street and I blame it on my flat feet. Ballerinas, espadrilles, even sneakers, they are all bound to be a tad uncomfortable (or a lot) because of how my feet are. It's amazing how I've managed to teach myself to ignore pain over the years especially from pointed ballerinas. Ah, for the love of fashion I will walk in anything lol! The only shoe that I've never had to break in/overcome pain in are my Ferragamo driving loafers. Omg, the lambskin is pure pure BUTTER. And the arch support is fab. I don't need to add insoles anymore. So I guess the comfortable luxury pair does exist but it's few and far between for me. Hence, the Compeed blister stick! Thanks for that again! xxx

Seems like you have "accepted" your faith when it comes to shoes :D But I can relate to the thought of being ready to ignore pain or unformfort for the sake of fashion - and I'm trying to become more of an adult and actually finding comfortable shoes because - simply put - comfort is better :DD For me the absolute most comfortable luxe shoe designer is Jimmy Choo! I have a few pairs of different kind of shoes from JC and their fit just works for me; I've never needed to break any of them in. Ahhahhaa so you have had time to test the Compeed blister stick already? I'm so happy if my recommendation actually works!! xxx

They do look pretty! I'd say that if you like them you need to try them on because shoes are so subjective. And Chanel has these in different materials so I'd imagine that the fit could also be different :)

Used Pedag Magic Step memory insole inserts and they make a difference on mine, you have to secure them with double sticky tape from shoe cobblers

Have you considered taking them to a cobbler and having them stretched? I have a couple of pairs that need to be done, all designer (A pair of Tod’s drivers, a pair of Celine sneakers with hard leather, and a pair of Chanel low pumps). I’m seeing a pattern here... mine were all purchased gently used, so it’s not like they’re not a bit broken in already! I’m short, but a bit heavy-set, and have a slightly wider foot. I am in America, and have no problems with US fit/sizing. I’m beginning to think designer shoes are not for me.

That’s actually a good point! They haven’t been _too_ uncomfortable so I haven’t thought about doing anything big; I’ve been kind of hoping that maybe suddenly they would be broken in 🤔 but I absolutely should check with a cobbler! I have found that from designer shoes Jimmy Choos fit wonderfully 💎 but I guess the thing with designer shoes - and with shoes in general - is that it’s all very subjective! I bought a pair of chanel ballerina flats in caviar leather, preloved in perfect condition, there were so hard and uncomfortable, so I thought buying the lamb skin will be different since the leather is so soft, and what a disappointment, also so uncomfortable ;( I don't understand why people in other videos said they are the must comfortable shoes ever... I think what an uncomfortable shoe might be for them?. I believed the problem is the shoes doesn't have any support or cushion inside, anyway as you said I can ware them for a very little and while I am sitting LOl

I've caught myself thinking of buying really expensive designer shoes cos they're "comfortable". I have decided to get them custom made instead 😉

That would be pure luxury! 🤩 I do have some designer shoes that are super comfortable such as Jimmy Choo but maybe designer shoes are not that different from other shoes: it’s very subjective 😁

The ballet flats I've worn all have some flexibility in the soles. I find it helps with comfort a lot. If I stretch ballet flats a bit too much and the soles are rigid, I run the risk of walking out of the shoes. It's a shame because I really like the beige with black toecap look of the Chanels. Similar story with Tieks with the rigid soles. People rave about how comfy they are but I just don't experience that. The search continues!

I can spot some points we have incommon when it comes to (secondhand) designer shoes 😁 - and French shoesizes 😄 Are they even more uncomfortable than your Hermes Oran sandals?

I did actually end up returning the Hermes Oran sandals. The issue with them was kind of similar: super stiff bottom with no comfort/support. These have super stiff bottom as well. But these were a bit more tight from the toe area than the Oran sandals. But yeah I’m also starting to see a pattern with French designer shoes 😂 there’s still a couple of French brands left to try! This might be fool’s optimism talking… 😅

@@WithaTouchofLuxury I‘m sometimes a little bit jealous of women with smaller feet 🤭 they can just size up... but with 41/42 - there‘s nothing left for me, to size up any further 😅🙈

I haven’t worn them in super high temperatures so can’t say exactly how bad the situation would be 😅 but tbh, they seem like they could cause sweatting in warm weather 🤭😆 but I do wear socks always with them and maybe that helps🤔
