Water Fresh Tint is my absolute favourite. The only minus is no SPF. I find it works well with a La Roche-Posay sunscreen that has a very light, liquid texture.

What a thorough comparison of this two products no one has ever gotten the details better. You are so exact on the description of both items is amazing I love it Angela. I am oily skin and I never thought that a part from me anyone dedicated an specific sunscreen for each foundation. I love the water fresh tint. It is blurring and just pretty. I don’t have a lot to hide so it works for me. I just add a little blush and mascara. Thank you for the comparison.💖

I own the Water Tint and I adore the finish. I got a sample of the tinted moisturiser. It looks good in the morning, but by lunch time, I am super shiny. I'll try it in winter.

I absolutely love the Water Tint and have never tried Les Beiges Tint. I always use SPF and with Water Tint I use Chantecaille primer with SPF, it contains only chemical SPF , so it is pretty light and works for me with Water Tint. Great video, thank you !😘

My skin is a little dry so it's happier with the moisturizer; I am intrigued that the Eau de Tent performs better during the day. Might give it a try. The one concern is the SPF:....G

I wear the Chanel water fresh tint daily over my all mineral spf 50 - I find it layers over it beautifully. I just ensure to let the spf set on my skin for a while before applying the tint, and then I very gently press and buff the tint over it, so as not to move the spf under it. Thanks you for the reminder to always use a dedicated spf under makeup 👍👏

@@deirirandmets718 my current fave (using for the past year +) is Avene Very High Protection Mineral Fluid SPF 50+. It leaves a white cast, but that’s fine with me, as I wear a tint or light-med foundation over it. With the Chanel Water Fresh Tint, I lightly buff it on with the brush it comes with. If using foundation (Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow - the newer one), I prefer stamping it on with a damp beauty sponge. (I like this SPF b/c I prefer mineral SPF with a zinc content of at least 15%, preferably 20%, (unless it’s combined with titanium dioxide to make a total % of at least 20), as that’s what’s going to give true broad spectrum protection.)

Honestly with the Water Tint I think it's better to go a smidge darker than lighter because it's so sheer and you get a little better coverage.

I really like the Chanel water tint but I have not tried the Chanel Sheer beige. It sounds like it offers more coverage but would be more oily on me. Thank you for the review & comparison. Like always you look amazing!! 😊❤️

Hello Angela, 100%. Agree with you regarding Chanel fresh tint, I love It to death. Since I already have m'y skin in prestine conditions...the Chanel tint is more than enough for me. Less is more in my case. Thanks you for this helping wideo of yours. As usual : perfection. Best regards.

I tried many samples of the water tint and loved it but haven’t purchased yet because I still have the moisturizer tint and cc cream which I love. I need to wait until I empty both to buy something new. For me I have mature dry (combo in summer) skin and only have a bit discoloration and I have very good skin. I love the les beige moisturizer tint but it does feel a bit oily in the summer. I will not repurchase again although it’s a lovely product I tend to lean towards my Chanel cc cream. It does feel “thicker” but I only need a tiny bit for needed areas not the entire face. It provides natural coverage n “sticks on the face” better than the moisturizer. I prefer the cc cream over any Chanel foundation and will always repurchase it. I believe it’s the best seller it’s always out of stock🤷🏻‍♀️

If you can wear a 1/4 teaspoon of the Tinted Moisturizer, cause it's so sheer, then you can wear it without a separate SPF. SPF testing is the same, no matter what the product is called. This issue with most foundations is that you would never ever wear that much foundation and even if you would cake it on (with your fingers) it wouldn't be cost effective. I have a sample and I am tempted to see if I could wear enough for it to provide proper coverage.

I tried the Water Fresh Tint due to a video of yours and fell in love with it; Thank You for introducing me to it and for going into such depth when it comes to the products you use/discuss. I will try the Healthy Glow due to the spf and see how it works. Also, Thank You for the CHantecaille code; being my favorite skincare line, I was able to purchase my favorites at a wondeful saving! I read below that some use the Water Fresh Tint over the Chantecaille SPF so fingers crossed it works!! Wonderful video as always. :)

I do try other products, (have just bought in Ultra Le Teint in 12) but always return to the CC cream! As I need the 10 in most of my Chanel foundations to match my base tone, (but can look ghostly!) please would you demonstrate how to make myself look healthy?!! Your blusher is so subtly applied! Omg i was just thinking whether any youtuber have any comparison of only these 2 items. I have the water tint (love it!) and was trying the sample tinted moisturiser today. And then your video pop up, yeay! The tinted moisturiser tend to make me look bit greasy by the end of the day tho.

I've been using the Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturizer for 4 months now. I'm paranoid about sun damage, so I use it as a second layer of protection under my regular sunscreen (Laroche Posay Toleriane SPF moisturizer). I do powder very lightly with Chanel loose powder and set with Urban Decay setting spray so I don't look like a disco ball. This combination holds up beautifully in hot, humid summer. I wanna give the Water Tint a try, has anybody has used it with concealer on top (I conceal with NARS creamy concealer around my nose and chin to cover eczema redness)?

I dont know whether to shoot this question at this point ,can you share your guerlain skin defense, can we use guerlain skin defense with chanel water tint foundation?,or can I go for any other tinted moisturizer? I have oily/combination skin I need something which gives light weight, I love chanel water fresh tint foundation because it is the one product which I purchased last year and successfully completed, I need another question I have acne scares it doesn't blend there nicely so what to do ,I am going to buy abeillie royale watery oil,honey lotion,skin defense,so I dont want to look oily all day I need some matte products too I need your suggestions. I read your description box you use guerlain meteorites plus Givenchy powder tell me about it both or same or different?,thank you

Hello Haemah, in this video I used the Givenchy Prisme Libre powder which is excellent for oily skin and to hide enlarged pores. It feels very lightweight on the skin. On top of it I used the Guerlain Meteorites 3 in 1 highlihter. (the new highlighter that I showed in one of my haul videos). I DO NOT recommend Guerlain skin Defence sunscreen for your skin because it will make you look more oily. Choose a light sunscreen - my suggestions for a good sunscreen that works great on oily skin and layers beautifully with makeup are: Uriage Eau Thermale spf50 fluid sunscreen; or La Roche Posay ultra light fluid sunscreen; or Avene Sport Fluid spf 50; If you can find any of these in your country, that's great! If you can't find them then let me know so I can give you some different recommendations. As foundation I would recommend Dior Backstage foundation. It looks great on oily skin and it covers well without being heavy. It's very lightweight.
