The cobbler in New Jersey was it Rago Brothers??? If so I did go to that shop and had some shoes repaired and a Coach wallet re-stained. They did a phenomenal job on the shoes. They also did a great job on the wallet but not phenomenal. I think shoes is more of their specialty. That being said I bought a small clutch from Dior and there was some minor wear so Dior offered to repair it. I thought they were going to send the clutch to Italy since I purchased it from their store as a new product but it went to Rago brothers instead which I find very disappointing because Dior supposedly takes pride in their repair and allegedly has an outstanding shop in Italy. At least now I know if my Lady Dior should ever need repair I will have to contact the Dior headquarters in Italy to get them to personally handle the repairs. I also have a Chanel handbag with the inside lining peeling that I'm thinking of sending to Leather Surgeons for refurbishing. It won't happen until after the holidays but I will certainly let you know which of the two leather experts does the best job. Thank you so much for the wallet comparison. There was a time I was contemplating purchasing these two same wallets but I settled for re-staining my vintage wallet instead. Watching your video made me realize I made the right decision. I think that Victorie is better

I don't like the Victorine because of the direction that the cards face. Eventually, the slot will become loose and your credit cards will fall out. I'll never buy a wallet with cards facing in that direction. I bought the zippy coin purse in Vernis, epi and DE instead.
